This happened at my wife's village. Those people were fulani mixed with their brothers(fellow Tiv's) gana boys who have sold them out. They made the attack at early hours in the morning. Alot of people are deserting their lands without carrying food. And it's farm season and people can't farm, the few who have farmed the fulani's are using their crops to fed cows with it. Today in Katsina-Ala people where seen carrying their children bared footed in town. About 16 women I saw were crying with their children (they all lost their husbands to death). The fulani's would kill middle aged, children and pregnant women. But would spare aged people and women not pregnant(they would rape them though). |
