In another forum, a Nigerian living in Nigeria talks about how Nigerians are more successful than African Americans because of education, qualification and culture. Other Nigerians tried to downplay his points with the jargons you will see in a screen grab below.
They try to argue that Nigerians have a clean skate while African Americans don't. You will see the reasons on the image below.

Another one tried to say white people are racist towards African Americans compared to Nigerians. Also look at the image below.

Can people discuss if this reasons are right?

It is a fact that Nigerians have more degree than any other race in the US and are the most successful black ethnic group as someone in that discussion puts it. I have checked and verify this assertion to be true.

We know the struggles African Americans went through centuries ago. Could that be a reason why whites tend to employ Nigerians over African Americans? Because their grand parents thought them about slavery in the past. Does this assertion make any kind of sense?

I have heard stories of Nigerians selling their land, houses, cars etc. To finance a fraction of their education which is one of their motivation or drive to achieve their goals while Americans have access to student loans.

African americans are in their comfort zone coupled with the fact that average african american loves easy life. This is very obvious in their pursuit of education. How will you love easy life expect to compete favorably with people who achieve everything by dint of hardwork and are better prepared by their tough background? Just how?

You take cretiness to a deeper level by misrepresenting my position.

Thankfully, not many are cretinous as you are.

You mistake every physically appearing humanoid for a sapient man! Your expectations were too high budaatum. This is what you get when you engage shell headed humanoids. How do you expect it to understand any point you're trying to make when it simply lacks the facility to comprehend it? undecided

Spambot has banned me on the other thread hence my absence

And I will advise anybody interested in the actual exchanges to go to the source thread and study the evolution of the conversation not just reading snippets posted by a vacuous nonentity

I do not engage that foul mouthed cretin. I avoid it like it is the plague, which is likely why it created this thread pained not to get my attention, which is a good thing really because it has simply shown how devoid of a brain like itself it thinks others are that they would not request context for a couple of posts it took out of context from a thread of 2305 pages!

our attention seems to be the highlight of its existence! Just imagine that I'd be so jobless as to create a thread to misrepresent what certain monikers discussed on another thread? shocked that is exactly what surprised me, and discuss it badly at that to frame it in a guise that reeks of inate stupidity! Certainly it can't be that jobless.........................or can it? cool

Yo, the screen grabs pretty much clear. Y'all be dancing like Chris brown but y'all downplayed education and hard work, y'all claimed white people employ Nigerians because Nigerians can handle racism from whites but African Americans can't. Read the screenshots from budaatum. That is exactly what the nigger meant
a blind man sees by touch and sound, one of them(you) was taken to see an elephant, he asked to feel it and by happenstance held it by the tail, when asked what an elephant ''looks'' like, this blind man who can not see who held an elephant by the tail and who refused to be convinced otherwise by anyone else claimed it felt like a rope therefore it looks like a rope ergo an elephant is rope-ish! undecided I just summarised your thread for you now you can clap for me

I was surprised too. And notice how dishonest it is by not quoting or mentioning us so we might not have found out, if not for the fact I read widely on here and busted it!

I understand. You do not need to quote it though, since people will easily know it is a cretinous fool taking out of context what it has not got the capacity to understand.

Nigeria-Born Medic, Njideka Udochi, Receives COVID-19 Community Engagement and Response Award in the US

Nigeria-born medical doctor, Njideka Udochi, who is also younger sister to the Director General of WTO, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has bagged an award for COVID-19 Community Engagement and Response in Howard County, Maryland, USA. This award comes shortly after she was recognized as Maryland’s Family Physician of the Year in the United States by the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians.

The award is worth $65,000 and according to Dr. Njideka Udochi, it “could not have come at a better time” than this.

On her Facebook page,  the Nigerian Doctor posted on the acceptance of the award thus:: “The COVID-19 pandemic has heavily impacted families, especially families of color, leading to economic instability, loss of jobs for many parents, isolation for kids and increase in mental health symptoms. Vaccinating our kids is a great strategy to help them return safely to school, increase socialization and mental health issues.

“This week, physicians from the Millennium Health Group and the Central Maryland Vaccine Equity Initiative were involved in educating parents and children at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, Maryland on the importance of vaccinations.”

Dr. Njideka Udochi plans to use the $65,000 award to help increase access and engagement of children and families of BIPOC to vaccinations across the country. This decision comes in the wake of the CDC’s approval of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine for children aged 12-15 years.

The talk of Nigerians versus African Americans is pure nonsense.

There is nothing to analyze in it.

It is all rubbish.

Each time I see topics similar to this, ignorance bursts out.

When Europeans and Americans see those that have studied or worked in their countries in Africa, they feel the same guilt as they feel towards African Americans in their country.

Africans overseas are just too happy to get pittance overseas which is celebrated at home by their kin.

The first thing they do is covert naira to dollars.

In reality, overqualified Africans just as African Americans do not last on on those jobs

Give kudos to any qualified African Americans if you know what it takes to get there against all odds from birth.
