WWE RAW REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

If what my thoughts of this whole angle are happen to be true, it makes the Roman Reigns saga the very best in many years. Let’s start at the top.
Roman Reigns started the show after getting introduced by Jey Uso, calling Cesaro one of the best wrestlers in the world. But as the Head of the Table, Cesaro can’t fulfill that role.
How can someone like Cesaro have that title with zero Universal title matches? FOX wouldn’t want that.
As Reigns was about to address Jimmy, the man himself interrupted with a shirt that literally said “Nobody’s Bitch” on it. Huh.
Jimmy said that he had a shirt waiting for Jey, and then said he was unsure that Reigns could beat Cesaro. The family had a spat about what it means to be family, and Reigns told Jimmy if he can beat Cesaro, he’ll make SmackDown his show and he can defend the Universal championship for him. Cesaro came out and accepted the challenge.
This whole interaction was amazing. Jimmy being how Jey was months ago, playing around as Roman glares at him. Jey kind of broke out of the trance for a moment when Jimmy said they would be the tribal chiefs if they won the tag team titles, and then snapping out of it when Roman got mad. And then Heyman in the background with the best facial expressions in the business right now.
The main event was a great bout between Jimmy and Cesaro, but that’s not what I want to highlight.
Jimmy cut an interesting promo before the match, saying that he sat home for a year and watched Jey give Reigns all the success he got. He said that Reigns said he doesn’t need Jey, but Jey doesn’t need Reigns. The Usos could be cool as long as Reigns stays out of it. Usos as tag team champions and Reigns as the Universal champion.
It finally clicked with me what’s been going on with Jey Uso here. The whole time he’s been losing matches I kept saying WWE needs to have him be the winner some times, because how could Roman justify in his own mind keeping a loser around as his lackey? And then it hit me.
That’s exactly what he wants. Jey Uso loses because he’s not in a tag team with his brother. That makes Roman the winner of the family, figuratively and literally. If Jey was winning, it would take shine off of the head of the table. That’s why he’s never reprimanded Jey for losing matches. He wants him to lose!
And that’s why he doesn’t want Jimmy tagging with Jey, unless they’re both a cohesive unit in his mob. No one else in the family can be champion. No one else can be a winner.
Obviously I just went into a big fantasy booking, but it’s not like what I’m saying couldn’t be possible. Because when Roman interfered in this match, it was because he thought Jimmy was going to win. He can’t just let Jimmy and Jey do their thing.
Because no one else can be a winner. That’s great storytelling. And I cannot wait to see what happens on Sunday.

Legitimately shocked
I was ready to type same old shit with the Women’s tag team titles. I did not see this coming.
Tamina was taken out and Jax and Baszler took control. Tamina was able to get back in and break up Jax’s pin attempt.
Baszler set up the Kirifuda clutch and Tamina got out of it. Baszler stopped the Superfly and tagged in Jax. Tamina dropped Jax off the ropes while Natalya took out Baszler.
Natalya distracted Jax and ate a sacrificial Samoan Drop, and Tamina hit the Superfly to win!
Y’all, JAX GOT PINNED!
Tamina and Natalya cut a very emotional promo and it was honestly the first time I was invested in them. I may have even had a tear in my eye.
Where do we go from here, I wonder? I legitimately don’t know. What I do know is that it’s about time WWE got these tag titles off of Shayna and Nia.
Though knowing WWE, REMATCH!

The Rest
You remind me of myself
What would have normally been a whatever moment between ring interview and opponent via satellite took an interesting turn. Belair went through her usual EST stuff, and Bayley kept laughing her off. Then Belair dropped the bomb - Bayley’s mad because she had her silly moment with the Bellas, while Belair won the title in the main event. Bayley dropped her shtick, and said “When I see you out there waving your stupid little ponytail and your shiny sequins, I feel like I’m looking into the mirror at my own past.”
This was the first time we’ve seen Bayley reference her past since turning heel. A heel that became resentful of who they used to be. And she sees it in her opponent. That’s really good storytelling. Bayley won’t win, but I really appreciated this twist.

Well... this was corny
Commander Azeez was presented the Nigerian Medal of Honor by Apollo Crews for helping him in his quest to forever be the Intercontinental champion. Big E interrupted, then Sami Zayn, then Kevin Owens. Zayn baited Owens into the ring and all hell broke loose. Big E made the save for Owens, but Owens super kicked E and E gave him the Big Ending. So we know everyone in the IC game for now. Hmmm. Two baby faces, and two heels. Hmmm.
Don’t be fooled by the fatal four way next week. You know there’s gonna be a tag team match in the near future. C’mon. You know.

King vs. King (King Corbin defeated Shinsuke Nakamura)
Nakamura did one of the smoothest transitions into a triangle submission I think I have ever seen. Unfortunately Corbin was smart and got himself up and rolled it into a pin fall. He threw Shin out of the ring, and then Shin came back and gave him the Kinshasa. Then the funniest moment of the night where Shin took the powers of Corbin’s crown and put it on his head.
Legit LOL’ed. King Nakamura? Yes, please.

Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler
Decent bout with the two men but it’s nothing new. We just saw Ziggler get defeated last week, and we’re going to see these guys again on Sunday, maybe even beyond Sunday going by WWE’s track record. And wow was there a corny promo after this match. Baby champ? Come on. I’m really hoping that we see another tag title change. I’m all in on the first father/son tag team champions. I’m not all in on corny promos.

Aleister Black is doing Aleister Black things
We are not to be with him, we are to be against him because we’re spectators or something. Still don’t have faith in this gimmick. Hoping WWE can change my mind.

WWE WRESTLEMANIA BACKLASH REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

ALL ON HIS OWN
Not many have been able to go toe to toe to start a match with Reigns, so the start of this match made Cesaro look strong.
Reigns did a good shoulder tackle and went to cover Cesaro immediately, and then Cesaro returned the favor for his own one count. He almost got Reigns in a swing but he was able to wiggle out.
Cesaro then started favoring his right shoulder after a nasty fall, and Reigns started taking advantage of that. A Samoan drop put Cesaro on that shoulder, and Reigns locked up a Superman punch, but he countered with an uppercut.
Cesaro attacked one of Reigns’ legs and did the sharp shooter, but Reigns got out of it. An awesome corkscrew over the top rope from Cesaro and then charging at Reigns with an uppercut. Reigns draped Cesaro’s bad shoulder over the top rope and held it there. Great spot.
Reigns trash talking started up and he started snickering and smiling at Cesaro’s will to fight. He kept beating him up and Cesaro looked rough, but you could see it on his face that he wasn’t ready to give up. Cesaro started a come back and Reigns got serious.
A clothesline saw Cesaro writhe in pain. He fought through it and did an incredible superplex over the top rope fore a near fall! Cesaro went for a Neutralizer and he couldn’t do it. So Reigns transitioned into an armbar and Cesaro rolled out.
Cesaro went for a springboard uppercut and Reigns met him with a Superman Punch, and Cesaro just kicked out at 2.9!
CESARO COUNTERED THE GUILLOTINE! He locked in the sharp shooter and Reigns screamed in pain. Cesaro transitioned to an armbar and Reigns powered out and pummeled him.
Reigns locked in another Guillotine, and he powered out again! But Reigns locked it in again, and it looked like it was over. Cesaro tried so hard to get out of it, but he couldn’t.
Jey Uso came down and draped the lei over Reigns, and attacked Cesaro viciously.
All of a sudden Seth Rollins came down to the ring. He and Reigns locked eyes and Rollins attacked Cesaro seemingly... for Reigns? I don’t know what the look and smile was for. Rollins just destroyed Cesaro’s shoulder and did the curb stomp.
That was an unexpected ending for this show. I would have thought that there would be some continuation of the Jimmy/Jey/Reigns saga, but they opted for Rollins and Cesaro instead.
The few parts with Jimmy throughout the show were to continue the division in the family and have Jey playing sides, but Jey just continued to play for Roman and Jimmy didn’t come out at the end like I thought he was going to.
The bigger story out of this - Roman did it all on his own. No cheating, no interference, no disqualification. Roman locked in the Guillotine in a straight up wrestling match, and won the match by himself. It plays right into the story they were telling on SmackDown, and I’m very intrigued to see how Jey reacts to that on Friday.
Cesaro was excellent and played his babyface role perfectly. I’m sad to have seen him lose here, but WWE hopefully sees him in a much higher position now. He deserves it.

Always be on the look out
Asuka and Ripley played it smart right in the beginning trying to take out Flair.
Of course, we all know double teaming never ends up working for more than a minute.
Ripley took her eyes off Flair for a moment and Flair took advantage by taking out her left leg on the apron. But Flair didn’t pay attention to Asuka and Asuka did a seamless transition into the Asuka Lock. That was beautiful!
Ripley broke that up and hit Flair with a flurry of knees and a really nice Northern Lights suplex. Asuka got there right at the two count. She was able to take both women out and got a nice minute and a half of offense.
And then The Queen did her Moonsault from the top rope top the floor. It’s been a while since we’ve seen that! Ripley and Asuka met Flair on that same top rope and teamed up again for a double superplex.
It all broke down between them and Flair did a double Natural Selection, trying to do Reigns’ smash ‘em, stack’em, pin ‘em but it didn’t work for her.
But what was a bit of some really good storytelling here is that Flair ended up losing because she took her eyes off of Ripley. Asuka knocked her off the apron, and Ripley came in and won the match right under her nose.
Now, what I probably wouldn’t have done was all the childish stuff after, sticking her tongue out and acting like a 4th grader, but we’ll all forget about that by next week. Charlotte and Rhea are not done yet.
As for Asuka, I really don’t know where we go next. It’s a shame how she has been treated since October of last year. Never the centerpiece in her own feuds, always tied to other people, and coming up short in non-title matches. She deserves better. I’d probably move her to SmackDown.
This show made clear that she’s not positioned atop the Raw women’s division anymore.

Baby champ!
Earlier in the day, those Dirty Dawgz attacked Dominik to take him out of the match.
So Rey Mysterio came out alone and gave it to the bad guys. Mysterio did a baseball slide to Ziggler and Roode. The one to Ziggler looked nasty but he was alright.
It finally turned into a match with tags between the Dawgz.
Once it turned into a match, Ziggler and Roode largely dominated Mysterio. They had him their corner and Ziggler did the assisted Famouser for a near fall. Then Roode threw Mysterio into a superkick, and Mysterio made it back into the ring for the 9.9 count. Really great moment.
And then the young Mysterio walked down the ramp and told his Dad to tag him in. Ziggler did the Zig Zag for another near fall, but the heels weren’t letting him get to his son.
Finally, Rey got to his corner, but he was hesitant to tag Dom in, so Dom tagged himself in. Very good storytelling here. Roode did a great spinebuster, and they teamed to do a neckbreaker. Dom kicked out.
Ziggler set up the superkick, and Dom did one of his own! Rey got the hot tag and it looked like Roode would get the victory, but Rey kicked out. Roode kept taunting the young Mysterio and Rey did the 619 to him and took out Dolph. Dom did the frog splash and got the victory.
Really classic babyface storytelling in this match. Roode trash talked Dom the whole time, and ended up eating the pin. Rey was hesitant to tag in his injured son, and Dom taking charge showed some good character work. All around good stuff here and I’m happy to see this continue.

Continued dominance
Lashley tried to get McIntyre to take out Strowman with him, but Strowman didn’t give them time.
However they finally were able to give a monstrous suplex to the monster. Braun was very angry with that because he damn near spiked his head on the outside diving to take them out. Drew and Bobby saved his damn life on that spot.
Bodies were everywhere. McIntyre Claymore kicked Strowman over the barricade after Strowman hit Lashley with the steps. McIntyre then threw Lashley through some LED boards and sparks flew.
Strowman bulldozed through McIntyre realizing that Lashley was out of it, and did a senton to McIntyre. Gosh that looks especially painful by a 380 pound guy. McIntyre ducked Strowman and did a Mishinoku driver! McIntyre then went for a Claymore on the outside and Braun caught him and they crashed through the announce table. Wow.
Braun tried the powerslam and Drew Claymore kicked him, and then Lashley decided to grace us with his presence to steal the victory.
I really appreciated the announcers giving us some history on WWE title and triple threats. Made this match feel more important. And once Bobby went through the LED boards, this match got really fun. I expected Lashley to win, and Strowman to get the pin, because why else was he in this match?
My guess is that Lashley and McIntyre will be at the new June edition of Hell in a Cell. By the way, Lashley hit the title so hard a piece of the red swoosh broke off. Doesn’t look bad in gold! Maybe just pop off the rest of that stuff?

The Rest
Bianca Belair defeated Bayley
It’s a shame that this match followed one of the dumbest things I have seen from WWE this year. I was not really able to pay much attention to this, after I was really looking forward to it. It also didn’t help that I already knew who was winning this, so the vitriol I had from Priest and Miz just made this not as interesting to me. Though I did really like Belair side stepping and making Bayley crash to her face on the outside. Bayley tried to use the ropes to win, and if Belair didn’t kick out, she would have won. Bayley just resorted to cheating for the rest of the match, and it didn’t work.

Damian Priest defeated The Miz
Sigh.
Not even Priest’s good looks were able to distract me from this garbage. Paid actors were dressed up as zombies and Priest and Miz at one point WORKED TOGETHER TO TAKE OUT ALL THE ZOMBIES. There were actual people dressed up as zombies. And then Morrison got eaten by them. And then Miz got eaten by them. There was a match in here somewhere.

Bobby Lashley is a God.

Roman Reigns Vs Cesaro is probably my second favourite match of the year.... just WOW.

WWE RAW REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

So, this was a weird show.
It feels like I say that a lot about Raw these days, but there was something that felt strange. I have a theory, and I’ll address that after talking about the big topic of this episode.
So... Kofi Kingston.
I did not originally have Kofi as my main feature, but this was that type of episode.
Bobby Lashley and MVP (and Lashley’s ladies) started the show, and MVP said that he and Lashley were so confident, that they would issue an open challenge. Immediately, Drew McIntyre’s music hit, but MVP had to stop him and say that what he was about to say was that neither he or Braun Strowman were allowed to answer it.
So McIntyre attacked him to try and get a rise out of Lashley.
Throughout the night, a few wrestlers addressed this open challenge - Sheamus, Damian Priest, and Shelton Benjamin. Sheamus and Priest won their matches, while Benjamin was a Lumberjack. Yes, a lumberjack tonight. We’ll get there in a bit.
Kingston also won a match, and it was against Randy Orton. So that story was done, and throughout the night we kept being reminded of this open challenge.
Main event time, and the man who answers the challenge is Kofi. Okay. So the bell’s about to ring, and then MVP gets on the apron and says that there was never anything about this being for the WWE title., and the heels do their hahaha we gotcha to Kofi.
I mean, of course WWE doesn’t see it this way, but it was also a hahaha gotcha to us, too.
Another bait and switch to keep us hooked for the main event and hopefully get some more viewers for the third hour, which, USA Network, you need to cut.
And Kofi won! Not clean, mind you. Via an assist from of all people, Drew. Drew knew exactly where to come in to stop MVP from attacking Kofi with his cane, and Kofi pinned the WWE champion.
Now you’d think that this big night for Kofi means a main event push, right? Here’s my theory.
WWE has no idea what the hell they’re doing right now on Raw. I would bet money that Kofi wasn’t even a choice to face Lashley before 6 pm the day of this show. Kofi was the only winner to never address the open challenge. On top of that, where does Drew fit in to all this?
And more importantly, why does Drew fit into this at all? It’s time for some freshness in the main event scene.
They have to be using Kofi’s two big wins to do something with him, right? He has to be a new challenger. But sadly, I could also see it just being this week’s booking, and maybe something next week and Kofi goes back to regularly scheduled booking.
I have very little faith in much of anything these days. This ain’t SmackDown!

Asuka’s still on top
Asuka and Charlotte, unsurprisingly, had a fun bout.
It was great to see at the start how much both women know each other. But Asuka got the better of her.
Rhea Ripley came out mid way and Flair was laser focused on her as she attempted a pin. Flair kept bouncing Asuka’s head off the mat and almost made Asuka land on her neck at one point.
Asuka had a near fall with a back slide and hip attack. Ripley was smiling and watching all of this as Flair would look back at her in frustration.
Flair went for a Spanish Fly but Asuka kept herself on the top rope. I don’t know if that was intentional or a botch. Flair rolled her up but Asuka just kicked out.
Ripley and Flair got into it and then shenanigans happened with with Charlotte making the same mistake as yesterday. She lost focus and her opponent took advantage. I did not expect to see Asuka win here.
Last night I said that Asuka was going to be off of the top of the women’s division on Raw, and it appears I was wrong! I’m genuinely happy to see that.
The Queen isn’t done, though. She always gets her way.

Rick O’Shea
Oh my God.
This was ridiculously fun.
When I was told Ricochet was wearing jeans yesterday(I obviously didn't watch it as I didn't talk about it in my recap), I became very sad. But actually I think it really looks good on him. Would be a great heel look for him.
I appreciate how much Sheamus loves his hat and jacket. So much so that he gets furious like someone stole a billion dollars from him.
Okay, yes this makes Ricochet look silly, but they’re not going to present him as anything else. I’m not holding my breath for a serious Ricochet push anymore. So I have to take what I can.
The two had a good match here. I recommend watching. High flying and brutal. I thought both men were legit injured at one point. One of the most brutal looking Brogue Kicks I’ve seen.

Change my mind
Natalya and Tamina were guests on Alexa’s playground.
I tweeted this today after seeing a sweet video with Tamina and Natalya getting their side plates on the titles: “Well this got me a bit emotional. I’ve not been a fan of this but I can’t deny that it’s meaningful to see genuine happiness for winning a championship. I hope that Nattie and Tamina have a good reign.”
I am sad.
Lilly asked the new champs what their favorite color was, and if hurting Reginald was fun. Nattie played along more than Tamina. Black and blue is Tamina’s favorite color because that’s the color Reggie will be if he interfered in their rematch.
The champs left and Alexa and Lilly kept talking to each other.
These bouts become much more interesting when Nia and Tamina are in the ring. Tamina knocked Jax off the ropes and then Alexa and Lilly lit one of the turnbuckles up in Reggie’s face. That distracted Baszler enough to get pinned.
Sure.
Comments are open. Tell me how this is all good. Change my mind.

The Rest
Kofi Kingston defeated Randy Orton
Continued awesomeness from the R-K-Bro saga.
Riddle baited New Day and Orton into meeting up with one another, and Orton wouldn’t apologize to them for the RKOs. Kingston demanded a match between the two old rivals, and Orton accepted. It was a standard match, but the biggest headline from this is Orton was fuming after getting pinned, and he heavily teased an RKO as Riddle’s back was turned. He fought with the voices in his head and decided against it, walking away from the ring. Riddle then got pissed and shoved Woods, so we know what next week’s match will be. That’s fine. This is good stuff.
Damian Priest defeated John Morrison
Hey this is still not over. What a surprise. Some of these lumberjack choices were a bit strange. MACE and T-BAR on one side, Ali on the other, a Titus O’Neil appearance, Mansoor fresh off his loss a few weeks ago, and... Nikki Cross. Yeah. Morrison did some creative parkour around the ring but ended up right back in the ring and down on the mat. Priest did a freakin Hurricanrana and Hit the Lights to win.
After the match, Priest declared that the Miz/Morrison feud is finally over (we’ll see about that!) and that he may accept Lashley’s open challenge. Obviously now we know it wasn’t him, but that was a good promo. I hope to see good things come from this.

Angel Garza defeated Drew Gulak
Angel Garza brought his rose down for me again. I will not be retrieving it from Gulak’s mouth however.
Yuck.

Disqualification station (AJ Styles vs. Elias)
Drop kicks are standard fare in wrestling, but Styles has one of the best in the game. Elias brought some much needed aggression and seriousness since the tomato throwing silliness. I will always pop for Ryker cowering away from Omos. It appears that Styles and Omos are now babyfaces? It was sure booked that way.

Akira Tozawa defeated R-Truth
Hey the 24/7 title exists again

WWE NXT REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

Bronson Reed gets Johnny Gargano in a cage!
After a cowardly sneak attack by Austin Theory and Johnny Gargano on NXT last week, Bronson Reed vowed that Johnny Gargano was “a dead man” walking. I don’t think that was another Army of the Dead tie in though. Reed had already earned a North American title shot by beating Theory, so The Way were hoping he’d be too injured to take it this week. Instead they got the exact opposite as William Regal booked a steel cage match for NXT!
This match was given a lot of time and deserved every bit of it including a nice long overrun. Austin Theory tried to run interference on the outside, climbing the cage for distractions, slamming the door in Reed’s face when he’d try to escape to win, opening it wide and trying to pull Gargano to safety whenever he came near it. Seeing Theory and Reed play tug of war with Gargano is comical, but only in the best possible way.
Despite all of the chicanery, Reed’s strength and power proved to be too much for Gargano to overcome. Even with Theory scaling the fence to blatantly reach into the cage and interfere with Reed’s escape, Reed single-handedly dispatched both men and went to the top rope for a thunderous Tsunami splash, pinning Gargano right in the middle of the ring! Cue the pyro for your new North American champion.
Well deserved, Reed!

Zoey Stark vs. Toni Storm
After Zoey Stark picked up a surprise win over Toni Storm at night one of Takeover: Stand & Deliver, these two women have been married at the hip in promos and deeds, talking smack to each other and interfering in each other’s business. At this point the former NXT UK (and hopefully future main roster) champ Storm either soundly defeats Stark and moves on, or we learn just how much the WWE brass things of Stark and her impressive physique. Which was it on Tuesday night? Read on to find out.
Storm’s disdain for Stark was clear at the outset as she casually walked over and slapped Stark in the face. That fired up Stark for an initial burst of offense, but eventually Storm crashed her into the ring apron and wiped her out into the steel steps. That led to a long period of Storm working her over until Stark hit an enzuigiri to break free for a commercial break. So far, so good. Both women were using their athleticism to get the upper hand and it was proving to be an enjoyable opener to the broadcast.
After the break both women were trading haymakers instead of maneuvers, and Stark got the better of it and fired up for a series of near falls. It all broke down when Storm countered a throw from Stark by landing on her feet, hitting a German suplex and Storm Zero... but Stark kicked out! If the fact you thought Stark was winning based on her kicking out of Storm’s finisher though you’d be mistaken. Storm promptly drilled Stark on her head and pinned her for three, leaving Wade Barrett perplexed as to what Storm’s new finisher is. Perhaps someone should tell the commentary team ahead of time? Seems like a good idea. Either way I was happy to see Storm pick up the win in this rematch.

“Ted DiBiase, kiss my grits!”
I’ve been of two minds about Cameron Grimes for a while now. Some weeks I think his “low rent millionaire” shtick is really funny, other weeks I think they dedicate so many segments to it during one show that I never want to see it again. In either case they’ve been building up a war between him and WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase, because “The Million Dollar Man” has been out-buying and out-bidding him with the money even GameStop and dogecoin investing could never get Grimes. This week we’d finally get the pay off (pun intended) as DiBiase came to the Capitol Wrestling Center for a big confrontation.
This started with Cameron Grimes being humiliated by Ted DiBiase in proxy, as he told Jake Atlas to park his car, and Atlas responded that only DiBiase could have a valet or his own reserved parking spot. Grimes responded in typical Grimes fashion — he threatened to beat Atlas up in the ring to teach him some respect. Atlas happily accepted the match.
I don’t mind when a wrestling story is predictable. In fact I think doing a “swerved you bro” finish just to fool people is one of the worst things about the wrestling business. Therefore I’m not going to say it was bad that Ted DiBiase’s limo pulled up during the match, nor that he walked out to the entrance ramp and distracted Grimes to let Atlas roll him up for three. The only problem is that it was a weak payoff for the long build to a confrontation between Grimes and DiBiase at the Capitol Wrestling Center. All of that build just for DiBiase to do a distraction and let somebody else beat Grimes? It makes sense but it’s hardly satisfying.

Taya Valk... I mean Franky Monet debuts (again)
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Franky Monet already debut on the April 13th episode of WWE NXT? Apparently you can debut twice though. Maybe the first appearance doesn’t count because she didn’t actually have a match in the ring. If that’s the case then this debut needed to be something special to show us what La Guera Loca is all about.
I’m not going to mince words here. I thought it was pointless to have Monet debut again, and apparently the director thought so too, because she came out to make her presence felt (and her little dog too) immediately after Storm picked up the win over Stark. It seemed like this would have been the perfect moment to have Monet pick a fight with Storm, but instead it was “to the back” like a vintage TNA Impact segment for a backstage interview. What? Why? Why send Monet out at all then? What was the freaking point of it?

Pete Dunne wants Arash Markazi to prove him wrong
He’s run his mouth nearly every week on NXT. Last week he even insinuated that Karrion Kross was ducking him because he was the toughest man on the whole damn brand. If you thought “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne was finished talking trash though, you’ve got another thing coming. This week he had a whole interview segment announced ahead of time for the show, giving the opinionated Dunne even more time to make his case for a title shot.
I have to say it was a fairly standard interview. Not great, not bad, just “there”. What actually matters is that Bobby Fish had an unannounced interview of his own with McKenzie Mitchell, where he said he found it funny that Pete Dunne runs his mouth about how he’s a match nobody in NXT wants. Fish said that’s the only match that he wants, so Dunne had better show up next week to answer his challenge!

A night full of unexpected matches
I’m going to rank them in order from the worst to the best. Alexander Wolfe vs. Killian Dain was barely a minute if that. Dain hit a crossbody after Wolfe refused to accept a steel chair from Marcel Barthel and quickly got the pin. Imperium gave Wolfe a two-on-one beatdown afterward so the angle was more important than the match. Sarray vs. Aliyah was only slightly better. Sarray won — as she should have — but seeing Aliyah be on her level for even 30 seconds just wasn’t believable, and Jessi Kamea had to interfere just to make that possible. Hit Row (represented by Ashante “The Adonis” and “Top Dolla” AJ Francis) vs. Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese was a much better squash, if only because the 205 Live superstars got in virtually no offense. Daivari fired up one time and immediately got put down by a dropkick. If you want to make a new faction look good, this is how you do it.

By far the best of the bunch though was Timothy Thatcher & Tommaso Ciampa vs. Legado del Fantasma. This was set up by a backstage interview where Legado were declaring their desire to face MSK, only for Ciampa and Thatcher to interrupt and say you can’t get a title shot without going through us. Logical. I always like a logical reason to have a match.
It was a cluster in the best possible way, with both teams repeatedly interfering in near falls, the ref losing complete control, and Ciampa and Thatcher taking advantage of the chaos to commit violence at will. There are few things I enjoy more than seeing The Sicilian Psychopath go on a murderous rampage. They seemed to have things well in hand until the Grizzled Young Veterans arrived to take Ciampa out. Mendoza and Wilde shamelessly took advantage of the weakened Ciampa and hit the double team assisted kick to the head to get the pinfall. William Regal declared himself disgusted with what occurred but nevertheless granted that Legado del Fantasma would get a title shot in two weeks. That’s not all that was announced though!
So yes, Franky Monet will make her third debut on the brand. God only knows why she needed three of them.

Grade: B
I was tempted to be more harsh as there was a lot of “throw it at the wall to see what sticks” to this week’s edition of NXT, but three things absolutely saved the show for me. First and foremost I have to admit the steel cage match for the North American title was really good. If you’re going to make a big deal out of Bronson Reed, you have him overcome the odds in a stipulation match for a title belt, dealing with Gargano on the inside and Theory on the outside at the same time. That’s the kind of A+ storytelling that raises the average overall. Secondly I enjoyed every moment of Thatcher & Ciampa vs. Legado del Fantasma, and even the Grizzled Young Veterans lending the assist to The League didn’t bring it down. Last but not least I’m thrilled to see Toni Storm finally get the best of Zoey Stark. I hope it’s the beginning of a run for her leading all the way to Raquel González, but that may be asking for too much. Even the bad stuff wasn’t so bad really. Imperium beating up Alexander Wolfe made sense. Atlas beating Grimes made sense. Sarray and Hit Row winning made sense. It’s just hard for me to grade a show higher than B with so many squashes and so little thought put into it ahead of time. At least they set things up for next week and the week after.

WWE SMACKDOWN REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

Humility
This was a multipurpose segment and delivered on all fronts.
The Head of the Table came out looking like a straight up boss in his track suit. Seriously, we need more regular clothes on WWE programming.
Reigns allowed his special counsel to do the talking this evening, and boy did he talk.
Heyman put him over huge while running down all of his opponents since returning at SummerSlam last year. After, Reigns asked for Jimmy Uso.
Instead, Cesaro came out with his arm in a sling. He challenged Reigns to a match at Hell in a Cell. Well... he tried to, at least. As Reigns immediately shot him down, Seth Rollins blindsided him and just turned into this unhinged maniac.
It deserves your eyes.
The referees and backstage officials tried to hold him back and get him to stop, and he did - for a moment. Then he jumped over the barricade and did another curb stomp to Cesaro on the steel part of the ramp. Just brutal looking.
This was good stuff all around. I don’t know who Reigns’ opponent will be at Hell in a Cell but at this point I no longer think it should be Cesaro. In fact, Rollins and Cesaro needs to be in the Cell.
Woven into this, Jimmy Uso started the process of getting his brother out of Reigns’ grasp. He went and got them a tag team match against the Street Profits next week, but Jey wasn’t happy about it. He had to tell Reigns about it, because Reigns is the boss. Jimmy tried telling Jey that Roman said he didn’t need him, and he also doesn’t need Roman.
So Jey went to tell Roman, and Roman said that they represent the family, and something else I couldn’t hear before Reigns leaned in and hugged Jey.
That look. Even though we didn’t hear it, it seems obvious what Roman told Jey he had to do.
They aren’t winning next week. Remember what I said last week - Jey isn’t allowed to. That’s his place in the Bloodline. Attack dog and nothing else. Betting that next week, Jey turns on Jimmy mid-match and cause them to lose.
And that could lead to a first time ever Jimmy vs. Jey match at Hell in a Cell. Oh boy!
Keep in mind, this will quite possibly end up being the only fresh match up on the show. My god, the repetitiveness is insane.

Oh... this again
Oh look - a 6 person tag involving people who are feuding with each other.
Feels a bit familiar, doesn’t it?
If you haven’t been paying attention, this has been my go to for the past... however many weeks of WWE booking 6 or 8 man/woman tags in place of being creative. This was just another one of those times.
And this time, with people who shouldn’t be feuding with each other anymore. While I could put up with another Bianca Belair and Bayley match, I do not need another Tamina/Natalya and Shayna/Nia match. And that’s exactly what we’re going to get with Shayna tapping out Natalya.
After an odd opening segment of Sonya Deville introducing the SmackDown champions as if you and I haven’t been watching, Bayley interrupted to chastise Deville for not including her in this line-up. She baited Belair into walking down to the ring, and then Baszler and Jax attacked her, prompting Natalya and Tamina.
The match was a standard 6 person tag. WWE is good at them. They’ve pretty much perfected these so there’s always a good watch.
But as I said, Shayna tapping out Natalya told us everything we needed to know. Because On Raw this coming Monday, there will be a rematch indeed. Any involvement of their makes me worried this reign of Natalya and Tamina will be short, unless they use their next match to finally split Nia and Shayna up.
That’s absolutely what we need right now.

Black Mass saves Apollo Crews
This was a bit of a head scratcher.
So Crews, Owens, E, and Zayn were having quite a banger, as all four men would do, and the Commander Azeez was outside the ring for all of this match.
I was just waiting for it. Every time someone not Crews would pin someone else, Azeez would start to climb into the ring like he was going to break up the pin. This happened multiple times.
Finally, Big E did the Big Ending to Crews and Azeez pulled him out of the ring. I thought that was where the help would start, and Crews would pin Owens or Zayn. But E took Azeez out and got back into the ring.
All of a sudden the lights got super bright and out from the fog, Aleister Black reappeared after having one of his vignettes earlier in the night. He just got into the ring and gave E a Black Mass, and Crews took advantage to win.
It’s definitely not that Black is joining with Crews and Azeez, and I’m glad I was not treated to what I thought was going to happen the entire match, but the total randomness of this was odd. Not... bad odd, but it doesn’t feel good odd for me yet.
I really don’t know how to feel about this. I have to wait until next week.

The Rest
Rik BOOGS! (Shinsuke Nakamura defeated King Corbin)
There was a match here, but Rik Boogs (weird spelling but whatevs it’s the BUGEZ BOOGS!) is all that matters to me at the moment.
If this was your first time, welcome to the Boogs cruise. It’s a wild ride.

Dominik Mysterio defeated Robert Roode
Sure. See you all next week!

Grade: B+

Didn't expect anything less than a stellar performance from Reigns and Cesaro. Cesaro has been big stage, main event prospect for more than a minute now. Here's hoping they keep him in the limelight.

The Raw Women's title triple threat was my second best match of the night. But that's par for the course when you have 2 of the best workers in the women's division and a talented Rhea Ripley. Will we never see the corkscrew moonsault again, Charlotte? I've really missed it.

Bayley got more offence than I was comfortable with in the SD Women's title match. Belair came off as struggling. Whether that's playing into the rookie angle, I don't really know and I still wouldn't be OK with that. When she rolled up Bayley and ran out the ring at the end, that definitely wasn't the Belair I knew and had come to stan. WWE needs to make her as dominant as we know she can be.

Congrats to the new Father/Son tag champions.

The moment I saw we were going to have a Zombiejack match, my very first thought was "Pu7pl3's going to hate this" and while I even have a fondness for gimmick matches, this one made absolutely no sense and just served to downplay and ridicule the feud between The Miz and The Priest. This feud could have ended here so both men could move on to better prospects, instead it's obviously going to drag on a bit longer.

By the way, you take a 6-week break and come back to Samoa Joe and the Iiconics gone, Eva Marie (of all fücking people) back and Pat McAfee on SD commentary. E reach to ask My people, wetin dey occur?

Mil Mascaras popularised the Lucha Libre (Mexican Freestyle) form of wrestling around the world. Like most luchadores he wore a mask and used many attractive wrestling holds and high flying manoeuvres. He was the man of a thousand masks.

Mascaras was at the height of his popularity in the 1970s and early 1980s (he celebrated his 50th anniversary in the ring in 2002).

Jushin Thunder Liger is like a cross between Mil Mascaras and The Great Kabuki. He wore a mask like Mascaras and he did a lot of high flying manoeuvres. However, his mask looks more like the face paint and masks that his fellow Japanese national, Kabuki, wore in the 1980s than Mil Mascaras' masks. Liger also sometimes blows Asian mist into his opponents' eyes just as Kabuki did. Liger became famous in the late 1980s and he was popular around the world into the early 2000s. He retired from wrestling last year.

Rey Mysterio Junior is like a modern day Mil Mascaras.

So what happened when Jushin Thunder Liger fought Rey Mysterio in 1996? Well here's the match.

The tribute to Mil Mascaras during his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Rey Mysterio Jr and Mascaras' nephew, Alberto Del Rio talk about how he inspired them. Of course there were clips of his 1970s and '80s matches. Although they didn't mention what happened, there's also a clip of his first Royal Rumble contest in which he eliminated himself by diving off the top rope and on to someone on the ground.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.

WWE RAW REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

Do you have the time to listen to me whine about nothing and everything all at once?
If you do, welcome to the Raw recap!
Man, did Kofi Kingston nail it or what?
Drew McIntyre came out once again to bitch incessantly, and Kofi hit the main point, but Lashley and Graves on commentary hit the others.
The New Day came out and interrupted McIntyre and Kingston said that he didn’t ask nor want help last week. He said he answered the open challenge because he never got his own rematch for the title since losing it. And because McIntyre gets rematch after rematch after rematch, we would all like him to step to the side and get behind Kofi Kingston.
Ain’t that the damn truth?
As much as I loved Drew last year, this year, he’s been quite a loser for the most part. Before Kofi, Bobby said it was pathetic that in order to help out he had to use MVP’s cane because he hasn’t been able to stop him. Then, during the Kingston vs. McIntyre match, Corey Graves said that McIntyre’s obsessed with becoming champion again.
Where’s the lie in any of that? It’s unfortunate, but every since losing the WWE title, Drew’s just been a big ball of meh. Now, being obsessed is not necessarily a bad thing, but the way WWE’s been doing it with Drew lately just hasn’t been clicking.
It was awesome to see Kingston kick out of the Mishinoku driver, and then McIntyre just had to bait Lashley down to the thing. It was clear what was going to happen. And of course, it did. Lashley got taken out by Kingston falling on McIntyre, and he and MVP interfered and caused the best word around WWE creative meetings - disqualification.
BUT WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?
Obviously a rematch next week, which will totally not end in a disqualification. Nope. No way.

Basket case
Everything that happened here made me feel vindicated for calling WWE’s women’s division the Reginald division.
Let’s tackle the first thing - this match.
I appreciated Tamina’s fire in this match for the most part. She was really bringing it to Nia and Shayna.
So of course, Natalya gets the winning pin. Fine.
How does she get the winning pin? My goodness. Here we go.
Shayna told Reginald to not be out at ring side for the match. She said that he would regret it because he would make the fire from last week nothing compared to what she’d do. So they showed him backstage for a few seconds. My immediate thought was that Alexa and Lilly stuff would draw Nia away from the match to save her boo.
That didn’t happen. Instead, Reginald just... walks out to the ring. And Shayna does nothing about it.
UNTIL HE CAUSED HER TO LOSE!
Well sorry Shayna but that shit was your fault! For like 30 to 35 seconds straight you’re staring at Reginald and telling him to gtfo. Turn the hell around and focus on the match!
And what happens when Reginald walks away? More fire. Those rascals named Alexa and Lilly. Always doing their magic.
So what’s Shayna’s response? Grab him by the shirt and make a match for next week between them, while Nia is standing in the distance seemingly looking conflicted? I don’t know. I don’t care.
I just want Nia and Shayna split. I want Reginald gone. I’m tired of this. He’s even overshadowing the stuff I don’t like so I don’t have as much vitriol for it this week. (Yes Alexa fans you can rejoice here. For this week.)
But what do I know? I guess you could just call me a melodramatic fool.

Beat the clock
Well this was certainly unexpected. A beat the clock challenge came out of Nikki Cross approaching Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair backstage. She challenged either of them, and Rhea accepted.
What then happened was something awesome, and something incredibly dumb.
Nikki Cross defeated the Raw women’s champion Rhea Ripley. Yeah. That’s awesome!
Rhea Ripley looked like an absolute slowpoke in this match.
A couple of times during the first minute of this two minute beat the clock challenge, Ripley was casually shoving Cross down and laughing. “Watch the clock, Nikki!”
Uh... shouldn’t you be watching the clock? You’re the one that has to beat her! It was only around the 50 second mark when Cross got some momentum and Ripley got mad so she started to take it seriously.
Of course by that point, she then forgot that this was a beat the clock challenge and just pummeled Cross until the buzzer rang.
That was incredibly dumb. I mean I’m happy Nikki was on television! Hell of a way to get here there though, right?
So I guess next week we’ll see Nikki Cross in a title match?

I already beat her!
I’m going to make this short and sweet.
This match was really fun, but this match also wasn’t necessary.
It feels like this is the reverse of what Mick Foley did to Sheamus and Cesaro years ago. WWE is just going to throw them in matches now after being a winning tag team.

Naturally Flair got the win this week, because Asuka won last week. 50/50 fun!
Later, it was announced that Charlotte will be getting a one on one match against Rhea at Hell in a Cell. I smell Sonya Deville shenanigans there, because it’s strange how that just popped up all of a sudden.

The Rest
Riddle defeated Xavier Woods
Xavier Woods showed the absolute power he has in this match. They started by grappling, and then Riddle leapt onto Woods’ shoulders and he didn’t teeter much, which was crazy. Their double clothesline spot was cool, too. Then Woods almost got injured on a crazy looking German suplex and then RKBRO outta nowhere! That was exciting. It’s adding to this story, too. Is the Bro turning to the dark side?

Sheamus defeated Humberto Carrillo
This is a bout of repetition I didn’t mind because it didn’t end the way it should have two weeks ago. Though it did give us an excellent Ricochet television match last week. So it only made sense that after cheating like a cheater, Sheamus got rocked by both Humberto and Ricochet who made the save.
Honestly though I wouldn’t mind if WWE made Ricochet and Humberto a tag team after this.

Cedric Alexander defeated Shelton Benjamin
More 50/50 fun! Another fun match, but like with Charlotte and Asuka, this is The Bar in reverse. Cedric cut a good promo before the match, which Vince Corey buried immediately after. Weird as that came right after the worst promo of the night from Dana and Mandy.

WWE NXT REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

Finn Bálor vs. Karrion Kross
The NXT Championship was won by Karrion Kross at night two of NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver last month. Finn Bálor has promised to take Kross into the deep water and make him drown, but it was Kross who left Bálor for dead in a decisive win that dethroned the long reigning champion. Never one to just sulk away and lick his wounds, Bálor challenged Kross to a rematch two weeks ago, and Kross was more than happy to accept. One can presume William Regal had to cross the T’s and dot the I’s on the paperwork, but usually in storyline a former champion has a “rematch clause” anyway, and making us wait a couple of weeks for the payoff just heightened the anticipation for this fight.
If I have only one complain about this match it’s the fact that we went to a commercial break with picture-in-picture less than a minute after the opening bell. Here’s hoping that WWE decides to upload the uninterrupted match to YouTube. Then again that’s what makes a Takeover a Takeover right? Uninterrupted action in the ring. Kross worked over Bálor’s back to wear him down, but the former champion kept making one comeback after another as we went past the top of the hour. This was as good as you’ll get on cable/satellite for free as they tore into each other over and over again, with action so stiff that Kross was leaving welts on Bálor’s body.
“The Prince” was giving just as good as he got right back to the champ.
In the end Kross put Bálor away with the Kross Jacket submission, but I tip my hat to both men for the caliber of match they put on here — taking themselves and their bodies to the limit. Whoever Kross faces at Takeover in June will have to work hard to have a match that looks as good or is as physically punishing as this one.

Franky Monet debuts for (at least) the third time
Make no mistake about it — I adore Taya Valkyrie. I’ve been a fan of La Guera Loca for a long time. I’d even go so far as to say she’s been underutilized to this point in her career, despite the fact she’s been a three time AAA women’s champion and a former Impact Knockouts Champion. If they wanted to make her annoying on WWE television though they’ve succeeded. She made her first appearance on April 13th, had multiple backstage segments since that date, yet for some reason she had to make her debut again last week. If that wasn’t enough now they promised us a “world premiere” of Franky Monet this week, which is different from her last two debuts... how?! I still love her but I don’t understand this at all.
Happily this time they got it right by giving Franky Monet a squash match with Cora Jade. The former Taya Valkyrie took at least 90% of this match and finished it with an implant buster, showing immediately that she’s a force to be reckoned with on this show and in this women’s division. That’s how you do it folks.

Raquel González & Dakota Kai vs. Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart
In the short history of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles, both of these teams are in the record books as former champions — Raquel González & Dakota Kai were the first, and promptly lost to Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart in their first defense. Moon and Blackheart were subsequently dethroned on May 4th, so it only makes sense to have these two teams face each other for a future opportunity at Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell.
This match opened the live broadcast and had González showing off her power early as Blackheart was literally not able to do a thing to her. That’s not how the match ended, but that’s how the segment ended. Even though Moon and Blackheart got the win, an angry González destroyed Blackheart all around the ringside area and left her in a heap outside, while Moon was equally debilitated back inside the ring. I can think of no better word for it than Pyrrhic — the winners actually wound up the losers here. It might be hard for them to claim a title shot at LeRae & Hartwell after this beating.

“Kiss my grits like Flo from Mel’s Diner!”
After Ted DiBiase distracted Cameron Grimes and caused him to lose a match to Jake Atlas, an irate Grimes stormed out of the Capitol Wrestling Center to demand satisfaction. While Mr. DiBiase did not give him any last week, we were promised a “Million Dollar Face-Off” this week. If the GameStop stonks and dogecoin doubloons couldn’t put a smile on Grimes’ face, maybe the chance to finally make the Million Dollar Man kiss his grits would.
You really have to watch it yourself for the word for word exchange, but here’s what you need to know the most — L.A. Knight came out to interrupt their back and forth exchange. Knight vowed that he was exactly the protege that could fulfill Ted DiBiase’s legacy, and an insulted Grimes told Knight to get the hell out of the ring or get kicked out of it by force. He turned his back on Knight to talk to DiBiase at his own peril and got dropped immediately for that mistake. “Kid, you’re never going to get it are you?” Once again the Million Dollar Man gets the upper hand. This leaves me with more questions than answers. Are we using DiBiase to get over Grimes, or are we using him to get over Knight? Is this an attempt to make Grimes a sympathetic babyface?

I’m really curious as to where this storyline goes next, and I bet that you are too.
Bobby Fish only wants one thing — Pete Dunne in a ring
On the May 18th episode of NXT, Bobby Fish made it clear that he blames Pete Dunne for the injuries that put him on the shelf, and that furthermore he found it amusing that Dunne claims everyone in NXT is ducking him or afraid of him. Fish made be many things but “afraid” certainly isn’t one. He dared Dunne to make good on his promise to have any one in the locker room “prove me wrong” and the match for this week was on!
Fish certainly fought like a man out for vengeance, blasting Dunne at every opportunity and locking in a long armbar that Dunne couldn’t escape for a long time. Why not? If someone puts you on the shelf with an injury in storyline, try to injure them right back. The reverse is also true as well — if someone is previously injured, work over the previous injury in the match. Both men played their parts to perfection here, but in the end it was Dunne who got the advantage and the pinfall, leaving his lackey Oney Lorcan to the dirty work and (as he vowed out loud) put Fish “back on the shelf.” The heels left with their heads held high and a circle of referees telling them to get out. If you’re a Fish fan this was red hot heat. Dare we say that Fish got fried here? We dare! “This feud must continue” and I’m here for it.

Bronson Reed addresses the NXT Universe
Last week Bronson Reed overcame the odds inside a steel cage, having to deal with North American champion Johnny Gargano on the inside, along with the constant interference of Austin Theory on the outside. In the end a “Colossal” Tsunami splash left Gargano down for the count and crowned a brand new champion. What’s next for Reed? We found out last night when he gave his address live from the Capitol Wrestling Center.
Reed took his victory lap with the North American title before Legado del Fantasma interrupted to mock the new champion. Escobar has concluded in his own mind that the North American title represents both USA and Mexico (but not Canada) so that means he deserves it as the emperor of lucha libre. Before he could even attempt to make good on his threat to take the title away from the champ, MSK hit the ring to dispatch Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza, and Reed sent Escobar spilling out of the ring to the floor.
We’ve got ourselves a tag team title match for next week. Once again NXT does the thing I like the best about this show — the segments on one show set up matches and events you want to see on the weeks to come. Speaking of which William Regal said after this segment that Kyle O’Reilly vs. Pete Dunne vs. Johnny Gargano next week would determine the new No. 1 contender for the NXT champion at Takeover: In Your House next month. Brilliant! If a show has a General Manager, he should book what the fans want, and as a fan I definitely want to see the winner of that match challenge for the gold.

Mercedes Martinez vs. Zayda Ramier
Ramier was already waiting in the ring when Martinez made her entrance, which is never a good sign for that individual in any form of televised wrestling match. Ramier had a couple of hope shots but 90% of the offense went to the veteran, which is fine by me, because Ramier is still young and has many years ahead of her. Boa had been lurking behind Martinez backstage before the match, and after Martinez picked up the win the lights went down and a Tian Sha video played as the ring filled with smoke. The lights went down again and when they came back up Martinez had a black mark on her hand. Ominous!

A few more things
It appears that Dexter Lumis never got around to checking his Twitter DM’s because he’s heartbroken that Indi Hartwell talked crap about him when she and Candice LeRae had their spa day. Maybe he should have watched a replay of NXT to see that she took it all back? Hopefully he’ll figure it out. We also got a solid promo from Hit Row putting the whole of the NXT roster on notice. If you didn’t know, now you know.

We had some words from last week’s opposing tag teams of Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher and the Grizzled Young Veterans. The former promised that their war had only begun and “round three” was coming up..

A cocky Zack Gibson and James Drake said they had no interest in renewing the rivalry and were moving on to MSK and their plans to wear tag team gold.

Last but not least WALTER gave marching orders to Imperium to destroy the tag team division and show everyone that the mat is sacred.

Grade: A
I’m sorry NXTholics, I just don’t have anything to gripe about this week. A solid show from start to finish. Every segment made sense. Every match had the right person win. Every angle leaves me intrigued as to where NXT is going next. When it’s good, it’s good. Even the “What happened to Tian Sha? Did they just drop the angle?” commenters should be pleased that they got a payoff this week. Kudos to NXT on an excellent show.

Reginald should not be gone. He's a good character if used and booked well. He's the black version of Angel Garza.

I think they should both gift rose flowers to the same woman and start a feud from there.

As for Drew, he enjoyed his championship reign, let him go and rest. I am tired of him. He was champion for over a year and that's enough for now IF YOU ASK ME.

DREW IS DUE FOR A HEEL TURN, THAT WOULD SPICE UP HIS CHARACTER. I EXPECT HIM TO TURN HEEL BY ATTACKING KOFI BACKSTAGE.

Lol, Graz that should be in a major feud? You want to put him with Reginald? No thanks

Major Feud with who?

Gulak? Lmao.

Reginald is more than the character he's currently playing. Let them get serious with him and make him a real part of the male roaster.

A feud with Garza will be nice. Since they both play the same loverboy, prince charming, cute smile, rose giving, dressing to kill character.
