It is fulani that brought tuberculosis and other harmful products through pastoralling and political policies into our holy Land of Biafra. Therefore, this report is an attacks against Amambra indigents. 1 Like

babyfaceafrica: Briefly...you can catch TB from being in close contact with an active TB case who coughs, sneezes, spits, etc. in your presecence...sending the bacteria airborne (Respiratory TB) Most Nigerians are immune to TB (A test called the Mantoux test can test for your level of immunity to TB)..but some aren't, and HIV postive people are especially at risk. Local herbs can't treat it. A course of 4-5 Antibiotics that specifically target TB , and which are taken for 6-9 months can treat it.(the drugs must be taken without fail...to prevent resistant tb)

WelcomeToBiafra: The kind of TB that comes from cows is caused by M.bovis. You catch it by drinking unpasteurised milk...which most Ibos don't drink anyways. The one in humans is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis...which is not linked to cows anyways. 1 Like |

Lazynigerian1: Look, I am not saying that there is no TB cases in Anambra State but a case in every 13 residents is not possible. If we are to believe that stat and since that TB is AIRBORNE then hospitals in Anambra State would have been filled up with patients given the number of weddings, funerals and extensive and intensive interaction in the numerous markets in the State. |

You are indeed a Lazy Nigerian.... Tuberculosis is not easily treatable. There is a lot of resistance to most common antibiotics presently. It is not a disease anyone should joke with. Children should however be vaccinated against the disease. Lazynigerian1: |

That's like 30% of the population. Why would any sensible person make such a blunder? A lot of politicians are mentally unfit for political offices. |

festacman: Well, most people here are immune...which is why we are not seeing a higher number of cases.(Vaccination for tb is mandatory). |
Re: 1 In Every 13 Residents Of Anambra Infected With Tuberculosis – Official by Nobody: 10:20pm On May 28, 2021 |
bunto: Well, speaking as a health worker who has treated tb in many people over the years, it is treatable. The ones who develop resistance to the disease are those who don't take the specified antibitotics on a regular basis. One who has tb is supposed to take the antibiotics...which are specific for the disease...for 6-9 months (longer if non-respiratory tb). If you stop taking the antibiotics after two months...you run the risk of being resistant. And resitance means we switch you to second line drugs...a different set of antibiotics. If you don't take those ones too...and develop resistiance...well, that's when things become tough. |

Re: 1 In Every 13 Residents Of Anambra Infected With Tuberculosis – Official by Nobody: 10:26pm On May 28, 2021 |
WelcomeToBiafra: Well the incidence of TB in anambra state won't prevent OR allow secession ...diseases don't influence poltical events like that. We are in the tropical region...and TB is just one of many diseases that is hammering the tropics. Even in developed countries, TB is still an issue there. The good news is that it is curable....so if the Fulanis brought it as a bioweapon...it ain't working....and if people take their drugs...they won't get weak at all. 6-9 MONTHS course of specific antibiotics will clear it. Unless you drink milk sold by Fulani herders...which is unpasteruized, and very risky to drink (even up North, many people drink tinned milk)...your chances of catching tb from them are very low. |
