Please nairalanders I’m tired of this lifestyle, I’m a 20yrs old guy and I find it difficult to relate with girls like I mean I don’t have any single girl in my life even to relate with guys sometimes na wahala, and this has been affecting me a lot in many ways

I’m afraid I might even get old and regret how boring my youthful ages were spent without fun or adventures


N.B I attended a boys only secondary school

At 20 you should be focusing on your studies.

What’s your problem young man?

Just be friendly with both sexes, and try to bring up some topics and ask them for their opinion. That way when they are talking you’re listening and giving them eye contact.

While listening also, you’re also reasoning your next questions based on what they are saying.

E.g I really like your explanation; that was a brilliant one, Amaka!; Please tell me more Mr/Miss Professor!

They would smile and then you continue.

Just don't worry too much about it.
There will come a time when you'll no longer fear what you fear now.
Just try to make little efforts every day to relate with people in general, no matter how short it is. With time, you'll improve tremendously without you even realizing it.
