95 ain't pass mark but excellent mark so I understand why he is filled with surprise. If at the beginning of the process you had asked him or anyone if they would be shortlisted there is no way for him not to think that he would be short listed if na me self I wud just be waiting for when shortlistment would be out and I would not even check if I was shortlisted or not, I wud just go and do verification .

Haba no be over confidence be that if Nigeria system is working then 95% should be taken automatically . If there want to do random selection then no test should av been conducted. What is the essence of the test if at the end of the day it a random selection.
When we see truth we should not shy away from it. Like for me I scored 65 and I can't explain how I was selected and 95 was not selected.

Lol really pls this random selection u said makes the process a charade, u can say stuff like maybe course of studies goes a long way , state quotas, validation 9f credentials, some schools their courses ain't accredited by federal gvt, then not uploading the right docs, if I hear all these has reasons for the selection then I can understand but u saying random selection it off it

Bros, I was cyber bullied here because of this particular issue here on nairaland. It's obvious you don't know about state quotas or representation. Do you know that someone with a 35% score from Borno state can be selected ahead of that guy with a 95% score from a state in the South, west or east? That 35%ter may be the highest score in a particular L.G in Borno, thus it will be selected by the system but in the case of the 95%ter, Do you know that he may not be selected if there are scores of 100% from his L.G, enough for the quota of his L.G? Plus, those who scored high but failed to follow little instructions? There's nothing Like random selection here but key factors like state quotas and merit. Of coz, there are a host of other minor factors. The dude should be patient too as the screening process is ongoing

They may be another criteria for selection. I saw a person with a higher score, higher qualification, higher class of degree than his friend, but his friend was selected while he was not. Both of them reside in same place.

Though the uploading is still ongoing, even those that saw 'check back later" may see "congratulations....".
