Good morning house. My name is tolu. Thank you for your work from everyone. I got a reply from the embassy of a refusal. I applied on October 30 and got a reply on may 31 2021. I have started classes and I have done exam on Saturday sef.

It state like this;

I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

Please what do I do as I prepare to reapply soon.

Thank you in anticipation of your response.

After a whole 7 months. This is pain

It's sad. But I will try again.

I am confused, is it because I didn't drop my account details during application or what. Because I stated I work in Nigeria. My sponsor financial stuff was submitted.

Sorry to hear about this news . Did you in any way since October order for your GCMS and what was the outcome of the eligibility?. Recommend interview or failed ?.

I think it depends on the financial status of your sponsor. Was there sufficient amount in the account? was it sufficient for your tuition for one year and living expenses for one year(10,000 CAD), was there a continuous flow of income prior to application?. i think it depends on these.

kindly order fo your GCMS notes to understand the issue better.

Hello,

Wow quite painful tho…try and request for for gcms notes to see the specific reason you were refused

You mentioned you didn't submit your account details...Probably that was part of their reason...who knows

Dont give up!

I am sorry about your delay. You need to address your personal economic ties to Nigeria. It goes a long way to shown you will leave after studies. The VO was not convinced of your personal financial stability. Anything stated on your application had to be supported with proof. If you state that you are employed you need proof of salary payment, such as bank statement, payslips, letter from employer, etc. Also did you address how your studied will increase your employability in your chosen field on your return. It needs to link into your short/long term goals in your SOP. If you have examples of job adverts with stated salaries, it shows your financial incentive to return. Be sure to ask for help from gurus to vet your LOE.

I wish you all the best.

Hello guys so I finally did the MBS. I sent statement from 1st of dec to 31st may which is about 6 months but it’s showing 5 months on summary info. Maybe if I had done it to 1st of June it would have been six month. I called the bank and they said they have already sent it to the embassy. Is there anything else I should do or I should leave it like that.

Yes you are the applicant, you are the main focus of eligibility review. Your financial and home ties need to be water tight.
All your sponsor is scrutinised for is their relationship to you, source of funds, is it sustainable, enough to cover your studies without bankrupting them and do you have access to the funds.

Please order your gcms note too, so that you can address the VO directly in your LOE.

I strongly believe you will be approved on your next application as your reason for refusal can easily be fixed. Stay positive and ensure you cover all bases in your next application, don't leave any aspect open for the VO to second guess.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Molly90(f): 2:01pm On May 31, 2021
She has submitted an express entry profile so there’s every way they will know she has a masters degree

EmeeNaka:
Actually, I think you should remove the Japa idea from your mind now.
As for your question, if you want to pursue PGD, don't mention that you have got your Masters in your Statement of Purpose or in any other documents you wish to submit to IRCC. There is no way they will know you have got Masters if you didn't tell them

check through their refund policy. Usually, schools will refund you if you fail to get Visa.

Your funds are refundable as long as you submit a reason why you can’t continue the program such as an unsuccessful visa application. There’s more information on their refund policies on their website.
