Lol Yeah, but honestly they messed up on the final day shaa. All they needed was a win at home vs Valencia. They ended up drawing.
Elche were just more serious than them. Elche secured a win away on the final day and leapfrogged them into the spot just above the final relegation place.

But all the same, down they went to make your call come true. Lol

BascoVanVeli:
Don't mind them, they tried to spoil my prediction grin

June 4 - vs Cam (8.30pm Naija time)

His transfer price tag (most likely close to 10million euros) will help them navigate pass that. Also, the owners of FC Midtjylland is the same as those who own Brentford. So we watch.

andrewbaba44:
Hope he won’t have issues with getting work permit

Wow no wonder there are about 7 or 8 danish players playing for Brentford

I pray the onyeka move works out

Now that Brentford is promoted I hope it facilitates Onyeka's movement to that club
Unless he becomes their most expensive player or something similar I'm not sure it will happen because where will he get work permit from?

TheSuperNerd:
Edouard Mendy is NOT the first African GK to win the Champions League. He is the second. This should be common knowledge. A certain Grobbelaar won it first and dominated English Football between the sticks while at Liverpool.

For context, Mendy is the first to win it in the current format called UCL (since 1992/93) but the actual first to win it in Full History was Zimbabwean Goalkeeper, Bruce Grobbelaar in 1984 for Liverpool when the UCL was formerly known as the European Champion Clubs' Cup.

Note: UCL Format will change again from 2024. So other first "in-that-format" contexts would still arise.
I disagree, this new format isn't wholesome it's just like when they scrapped the double group stage thingy about 15 years ago or so.

A CM,

But the thing is, he was a mildfielder, and Africa hardly recognize a mildfielder for it, if not Mikel shoulda won it too,

It's just politics,

Taking nothing from Yaya ooo
Not true, Yaya was banging in goals and getting assist regularly. Yaya was an attacking player

Some of the Super eagle players are already withdrawing from Cameroon friendly match...

Some of the reasons for the withdrawal include fatigues, injuries and failure on the part of NFF to pay off accumulated match bonuses and arrears. In short, a large number of the lads are not motivated.

So Marcus Abraham was recently voted player of the season in the Portuguese Second Division League. I think we should give Rohr some benefits of doubt concerning this Marcus

I don't know about the Danish passport, but Onyeka has been with Midjylland since January 1st 2016. That makes it 5 years and some months now

Rohr should invite home based players to the squad 23. We cannot go with only 18 players,Cameroon are gonna whoop our ass

No Nigerian playing in second divisions in any top european country won it.
So I think it's a nice stepping stone for Marcus and with this award, he could be playing in a mid table team in Portugal this coming season

He was adopted by a dannish family when he arrived the country at the age of 17 from Nigeria. I think that also help him in securing the passport.

Too late for that. They would need at least 10 days to get a visa to Europe.

PS: And Semi Ajayi is out too.

And none of our reputed scouts here spotted him grin.

Make we dey give Rohr small respect o. He may not be the best of tacticians, but his scouting game is definitely A1.

This is rubbish. Unless you are blind or just trying to deflect from the truth, then it's no news that I have always mentioned him here and given reports of the lad severally. Cease with these false statements you make. Just like how you told us Nacho will end up in China before this season grin

If you don't know how to properly give credits to good work done here by some of us, then it's best you keep quiet instead of spilling more nonsense. Thank you Curtis. smiley

It's what the ESPN report says but I am yet to see any official reference to this. Nothing on this posted by his club or the Segunda Liga yet. Perhaps with time.

But the lad is a good talent only that he is not the answer to our midfield depth challenges.
But again with the withdrawals of players, he won't be a bad option to have fill in any of the attacking positions (including AM) at all.

Would prefer a step up to Ligue 1 to be honest.

Had this discussion with my Rohr contact for months now about the lad but Rohr didnt even hint that Marcus will be called up until the list dropped.

At the bolded, we can't pass judgement just yet, he could become the answer, only God knows. He seems to be a good talent and he is also a left footed player, that means he can always deputize for Chukwueze
