At least this man is intelligent and has a workable plan. If you watch the last presidential debates and all his other broadcasts, you will also agree that, at least, he's honest about what he can and cannot do. So far, this is the best candidate I've seen for the presidency. But we will always be Nigerians.

It's not that simple. I too was one of those who thought last time that Moghalu was a new and interesting voice, but in the intervening four years he has done absolutely nothing to build a grassroots organization to carry his ambitions forward. How then can he expect Nigerians to suddenly vote for him in large numbers, when the only means they have to learn about his message is through Twitter and the occasional newspaper article? Are those the sorts of mediums farmers, bus drivers and roadside hawkers are going to be reading?

As others have said, right now Moghalu probably couldn't even win his own LGA, let alone a single state, and the fault is primarily his own. It's not enough to pop up every few years saying you want to be president, you have to actually do the work between presidential races to build up a nation-wide network of supporters and campaigners, to ensure people know who you are and what you stand for when the next opportunity arises. This is what Moghalu and all the other "third party" Nigerian candidates totally fail to appreciate.

I think Moghalu, Sowore, durotoye, Oby etc should form a political party and try to get elected into the senate in the first instance. And then from there, we if they provide good leadership, they can plot for one of them to go forward for president in say 2030.

Cos reality is that non of them have a chance trying to vie for the presidency from scratch. In Nigeria, the you can only win if you go under the ticket of either PDP or APC. That is the unfortunate truth. We still practice money politics for the poverty stricken populace and not intellectual politics. So intellectuals will never win on that basis alone.

Just because previous politicians made 'beautiful promises' and failed to deliver on those promises doesn't mean politicians shouldn't be making promises again or any politician making 'beautiful promises' will not deliver.

You see, Nigerians themselves have always been the problem when it comes to election because they often allow some sentiments like tribe, religion, stupid insistence that the politician must either be an APC or PDP member and some other nonsense, to becloud their sense of judgement.

Now, I can bet that during the last presidential election somebody like you didn't even bother doing research on each of the presidential candidate to determine the right person to vote for. You were just carried away by mass emotion and ended up voting for somebody like Buhari.

When Woke Soyinka recommended that Nigerians should vote for this Moghalu I went online and did some research on each of those presidential candidates to know which of the candidates has the right personality, mental capacity, international exposure and needed experience to govern Nigeria well; I discovered Kingsley Moghalu was one of the best among them. I also discovered there were at least two other candidates from other political parties outside of PDP and APC that could govern this nation far better than Buhari or Atiku but unfortunate average Nigerians being idiots that they are wouldn't vote for them.

Nigerians are the architects of their problems. They deserve the leaders they get. They will get better leaders when they themselves are better humans.

He hasn't said anything different. Where is he going to get the funds for his ambitious programs? This is the main issue he needs to state clearly. Is he going to rely on oil revenues, is he going to borrow like there is no tomorrow, is he going to raise taxation and he this is his plan, how would he structure it, or does he have other means not stated here.

Serious countries debate tax policies, social programs, changes in culture and international affairs when choosing leaders. All.

What We get here is: 'I will, I will'. We are tired, we need a politician we can stand behind because his ideas are not only good but also realistic.

But he expained most of those things during his last campaigns and I'm sure he will explain them clearly this time again, but only if we agree to listen to him.

Clearly and clearly, candidates like this represent a clear deviation from the norm. But will Nigerians vote for a difference? Most people will end up saying "all politicians are the same" and then end up voting for the same old brand.

Intelligence mixed with eloquence and good intentions is what Nigeria needs for redemption. There is absolutely a glaring light at the end of the tunnel for Nigeria.
If people with clear workable vision comes out like this, we are truly on the pathway of national rebirth. May God remember our suffering for all these years and bring unto us a Moses to rescue us. We deserve good leaders in this country.
