My brother u have made the right decision, if its a skilled job go right ahead and start up your own or do it freelancing. Let me tell u what someone told me that made me quit back then. Before a company pays u it will first of all pay itself,pay its family,pay its capital,pay its bills, fuel all company cars, gen, etc pay for the company's reserves and after all is sort out the remaining is take from and given to u.

That's how it works so bro the only way is self employment, nothing less.
