BREAKING: Twitter Deletes Buhari’s ‘genocidal’ Tweet by Bethel4Life(f): 3:23pm On Jun 02, 2021 |
Micro-blogging site, Twitter, has deleted the controversial tweet of President Muhammadu Buhari threatening genocide against Igbo youths. This is coming after Nigerians reported the president’s account to Jack Dorsey, founder of the micro-blogging platform. When TODAY POLITICS checked the president’s tweet, it indicted it has been deleted. “This Tweet is no longer available,” Twitter said. Buhari, a retired military general, had threatened to deploy his civil war experience in an attempt to quell attacks on infrastructures destroyed nationwide. His remarks where described as genocidal by Nigerians who lambasted him for not issuing such threats to bandits but rather chooses to appeal to the criminals abducting schoolchildren and demanding ransom.

Don't worry, the tweet is nothing to worry about. Buhari was just giving them a friendly reminder that enemies of the state will be annihilated just like their fathers before them |

Thanks to Jack. But deleting is not enough. Just like Trump, the dullard must be suspended indefinitely for threatening genocide on citizens. Mumu man. 1 Like |

Buhari is a failure any day, any time. I no longer pity his gullible followers, some are already languishing in abject poverty, more to follow. |

They shouldn't have deleted it. Now as far as Buhari is concerned he never made any genocidal threat on a particular people. If you doubt it provide evidence. Funny enough but Buhari wins. |

Even the people that were once Bubu's supporters who have turned against him due to his poor performance will suddenly starts supporting him anytime he attacks Igbos or threaten to do so Even so of those agitating for Oduduwa now will be happy if IPOB is targeted by the army. Hatred for Igbos is a uniting factor in Nigeria! MoonWater: |

Joromi1:There's video evidence and many have screens hots. Twitter would gladly provide the tweet when requested by the ICC. But most importantly, it delegitimizes buhari and puts him in bad light internationally. The news of Twitter deleting his post would attract more attention to the content of the post. Lalasticlala |

barojana: See you all don't understand how diplomatic relationship works. Obasanjo did worse than a twitter comment, he leveled a whole town and nothing has happened to him all these years. You won't understand peace, till the authority teaches you who is in control |

People tends to hate the most successful people. No wonder the Jews are hated. Your region is suffering even with your so-called good politics but you wanna continue doing same thing. When will you guys get it that Nigeria is not working and cannot work? MoonWater: |
