A Nigerian activist, Aisha Yusuf has slammed the River State Governor over threats to kill members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB in the state.

DAILY POST had reported that the governor on Tuesday during the commissioning of construction work at the Ahoada Campus of the Rivers State University and the dualization of the Ahoada-Omoku Road in Ahoada Town said the IPOB members allegedly threatening the peace of the state would soon meet their “funeral”.

He was alleged to have said, “So, when people say, ‘IPOB, they’re carrying ‘Juju’, I say no problem. What’s happening, are they not dying? Let nobody deceive you with that juju.

“If you don’t repent, your funeral has come. You’ll die, your parents will not bury you. We’ll bury you like vultures. Either your hands will be cut off or we’ll blow your head off”.

Reacting, the popular female activist described the threat as “absolute nonsense” saying that those around the governor would have booed him while he was making such a comment.

Her reaction was contained in a recent tweet on her verified Twitter handle.

The tweet reads, “How many have you killed and buried? What absolute nonsense is this? The audacity to threaten people and even brag about killing and burying!

“The people were there smiling sheepishly instead of booing him off. The arrogance of these low-grade rulers is irritating”.

IPOB doesn't even know Wike is talking

The main point being that Wike no longer sleeps i the government house. That is a massive plus for IPOB.

Now he is reduced to seeking attention, and hoping to be the centre of IPOB's press release.

I couldn't read the context till the ending,it's not as if it's too long.
But at the moment,in having issues upwards,
So my reasonings may not correlate with the topic even if I re-read the whole write up twenty times,and as a result I may dish out offtopic and ill judgement to the case.

Yesufu. Thanks for speaking out. As an Oduduwan, I strongly identify with my Igbo brothers as well 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Igbos have lived with me since Ive been born and I rarely hear Igbo-Yoruba fight / clash. It's always Yoruba-Hausa/Fulani clash at Mile 12 Lagos, or Yoruba-Fulani at Sabo, Lagere, Ile-Ife. Igbos are never my problem, and the coastal biafrans as well (Calabar, Efik etc). These are gentle people. They don't kill me in my farmlands, they don't rape our daughters. And they don't grab lands. They either rent or buy it.

All Ive observed that the Igbos want is a fair playground for competition. They are always ready for a challenge and have one of the most unique minds I've seen. How IPOB never folded up till this day despite the constant media onslaught, paid urchin libeling, proscription etc., they kept growing in reputation. Once they believe in something after analysing it, their steadfastness to it is unbelievable. The other ethnicities in part of Biafra are kind of lukewarm; some have abandoned the course. But the core Igbos never wavered. Even though they bore the greatest brunt during the war.
