that just makes no sense. anyone here ever said believing in God meant you are bulletproof or that it would bring development? or what are you comparing here? why bring up Islam or Christianity. When you think black magic works, why is it often used for evil sh!t and not for good. it's silliness to think charm would stop a bullet, that's the convo here. no need to shoot me, I'm not dumb enough to think I'm bulletproof. But you are free to shoot yourself though, let us know how that works out ![]() And be a good boy and live stream that sh!t for us to see. perhaps the result of that would spare us your constant bad news articles in the future ![]() DubaiLandLord: |

Operatives of the Operation Puff Adder of the Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested 10 persons during a secret meeting of the members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in a private school in Okutukutu area of Yenagoa, the state capital. The meeting was part of a plan to allegedly unleash mayhem on some parts of the Bayelsa State capital. A book with the title, “The Chain of One Nigeria Broken (The story of our journey to Freedom)” was also recovered from the suspects. LEADERSHIP gathered that the arrest was made on Tuesday afternoon following a tip off and detailed surveillance on the private school identified as Divine Brain Primary School located in the area. The suspects were taken to the State Police Command where they were profiled. A resident of the Okutukutu area, identified as Clifford, said the suspects were arrested by a team of Operation Puff Adder officers, adding, “we noticed some strange movement of plain clothed policemen and uniformed ones in the area. “Many residents started moving into their homes to avoid being caught on the wrong side of the law. They proceeded to the school and we were shocked when they brought out people in handcuffs. We thought the school was empty.” LEADERSHIP, however, gathered from senior security sources that a legal practitioner and headmaster of a school were among those arrested. A source told our correspondent that “the suspects locked themselves in one of the classrooms. When the Police arrived, they nearly turned back. But when they break open one of the classrooms, they saw the suspected IPOB members.” The Bayelsa Police Command, however, in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Asinim Butswat, warned members of the public in the State to stay clear from any form of association with the proscribed lPOB. According to the police, “Intelligence available to the Command indicates that some misguided elements are planning to set-up IPOB cells in the State. Police Operatives are on their trail and monitoring their activities” . “The Command will deal decisively with any person or group of persons that attempt to disrupt the prevailing and peaceful security situation in the State.” “The Bayelsa State Police Command hereby, appeals to the good people of Bayelsa State to go about their lawful and legitimate businesses, as the security agencies are on ground to ensure that peace and order is maintained in the State.” https://leadership.ng/police-arrest-10-ipob-members-in-bayelsa/ |

I am happy that we are now talking about our problems as Nigerians and trying to find solutions but we are still not being sincere with ourselves. Years ago, we used to blame politicians, we moved on to blaming ethnic groups, we blamed colonialism and France, we even blame our neighbors at times. Today we are blaming the constitution. We will keep blaming others and the problems will keep getting worse until we tell ourselves the truth. Until we accept our own faults and accept we are parts of the problems. Change the constitution a thousand times and we will keep on having the same problems in a thousand different versions. We are treating symptoms and complications when we should be struggling to tackle the root cause. We are a very terrible people and until we change, we will keep wallowing in these self inflicted problems and blaming others. |
Change the constitution a thousand times and we will keep on having the same problems in a thousand different versions. I don't agree with you on this. Let's restructure in a way we will have 6 geopolitical regions. Make everybody run things the way they want to. The FG should only be in charge of defense, foreign affairs and finance. Make every geopolitical regions face their issue the way dem feel is the best. Make each geopolitical region they pay a fixed amount to Central Government monthly. Imagine this Fulani heardsmen wahala now, it will be the headache of each regional government, they will sort it out the way they feel is the best. |

Fifty Killed As ISWAP Fighters Attack Nigerian Army Base In Borno | Sahara Reporters. SaharaReporters learnt that the insurgents battled with the troops of the 25 Task Force Brigade in the Damboa area of Borno State, and could have been overrun but the military’s MI-35M attack helicopter alongside L-39ZA and Alpha jets arrived promptly to save the situation. Nigerian troops attached to Operation Hadan Kai in Borno State on Wednesday came under attack by the Islamic State West Africa Province fighters who attempted to overrun the base in multiple gun trucks and an armoured vehicle. SaharaReporters learnt that over 50 ISWAP fighters were killed during the air strikes while about 11 gun trucks with which they attacked the base were destroyed. The insurgents suffered losses with the bodies of their fighters strewn over the location but it was not sure if there was any casualty yet on the side of the Nigerian Army troops. This is at least the third time this year that ISWAP would be using a Nigerian army armoured vehicle to attack troops. The situation remains fluid over fears that ISWAP could regroup and launch another “Troops neutralised over 50 ISWAP insurgents including top commander Oumar Tela in a failed attempted attack on military base yesterday in Damboa town, Borno State. Several gun trucks and vehicles bearing improvised explosive devices were destroyed. “The Nigerian Military Mi-35 Fighter Helicopter was in action against the terrorists around the Damboa axis for hours, and helped in neutralising scores of the fighters,” a military source stated. http://saharareporters.com/2021/06/03/fifty-killed-iswap-fighters-attack-nigerian-army-base-borno |

The Kano State Governor, Abdulahi Ganduje, on Thursday, called for military intervention in the state, saying that bandits have taken over its forests and converted them to hideouts. He added that the bandits are gathering in Falgore Forest and may be planning to carry out attacks. Ganduje said this at a meeting with the service chiefs at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja. He said, “I am also here to seek the help of the Nigerian Army to sustain the peace in Kano State. Bandits have converted some forests in the state into hideouts. “The bandits are grouping in Falgore Forest and may be planning to attack our people. “We are building houses, schools and hospitals for the herdsmen in some of the forests but we want the Army to commence activities at the Falgore Forest. “I plead with the Nigerian Army to quickly conclude work on the training depot at the Falgore Forest so that they can take over the forest.” The governor also condoled with the Nigerian Army over the death of the former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, and 10 other officers, describing their death as painful, untimely and sorrowful. The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Yahya Farouk, reiterated the commitment of the Army in conjunction with, other arms of Armed forces and security agencies to contain insecurity across the country. He also promised to visit the Falgore and see ways work can resume on Army facilities in the forest. https://punchng.com/ganduje-seeks-armys-help-says-bandits-gathering-in-kano-forest/ |
