Adakintroy:5%–97% divisive comment and Genocide threat made by Buhari had proven ur assertion wrong. Nigeria has never embraced the Igbo race. What have we gained in return; hatred, envy, threat and wickedness. One thing I know is that 2023 will either douse Biafra agitation or heighten it. |

Igbos don't want to continue to be marginalized. Either you make things better or you let them go! Igbos believed and practiced the "one Nigeria" thing more than other ethnic groups, and yet Igbos are marginalized! Igbos have right to secede and want to follow the appropriate procedure to do so, but the useless blood-thirsty parasites in the North would rather want war than allow Igbos to leave! You hate Igbos this much and yet you don't want them to leave! It doesn't make any sense at all! Igbos today are more powerful, richer, more advanced, more connected and deadlier than the Igbos of 1960s. So don't think they can't inflict serious damages and win the war!! |

This is why I think a 'one Nigeria' will no longer work on a long term basis. Hear what a Northerner has in his mind toward the South East. Why should other regions vote for a Northerner? What right do they have to power that other geopolitical regions don't have? Until the nation realizes that the Northerners level of education and exposure was one of the reason why their grip on power set the country backward since independence. |

fidelisodogbo:here goes my 2 cents in a brief As simple as it sounds, confederacy will go a long way for the geographic entity called Nigeria. If you allow each region to handle their affairs while having a center that simply coordinates the regions and involve itself in things that involve the country as a whole internationally, each region will realize how much they need or don't need themselves. Secondly, this will stop the attraction to the center by all kinds of people who probably do not have the country's interest at heart. Thirdly, this will give regions that have people clamoring for succession to evaluate the leadership capabilities of their leaders without actually breaking off from the country. On issue of presidency, the constitution should be amended to disallow any succession attempt by a region if the incumbent president is from the region. That is, if for example the current president is from the north east, then the constitution will not allow any succession attempts from north east so far as north east produces the incumbent. Same applies to all regions. The constitution should be strong enough to levy heavy sanctions on regions that try to do so while in power. |

Vaughanlanrewaj:It's obvious you're just so daft at what you do So, how did the current fight by ESN to defend people against killer herdsmen. So you want the SE to do nothing and become like Benue? GOD forbid Your NSA asked people to defend their lands. Youre worse than a devil for comparing a group that has only picked arms to defend their lands without any known case of kidnapping with a group in the NE &NW kidnapping even school children, raping girls & women, and has killed over 5k soldiers See, I told a friend that Nigeria will never ever be good again. I used to believe in Nigeria but not anymore This country purposefully supports evil |
