Description of the property
The property comprises of 6 Units of 2bedrooms apartments. The building has three floors and each floor contains 2 units each.

The building is supported on pad footings.

OP please can you give me a rough estimation how much it cost to complete a project like this. Foundation to finishing, just rough estimate.

With the increase in the price of construction materials such as cement and steel daily it is very difficult to give a good estimate but I will say roughly 30million for the carcass only.

Can this work in a storey building?

This can work very well in storey buildings and we are actually constructing a two storey building.
Lintels are supports over openings not necessarily around the perimeter of the building as some do unless the openings are more around the perimeter.

The choice of chain lintel is a personal one not structural.

i saw some people using white sand, thats the sand used in mixing cement to fill dacon, and am just wandering weda its right. I taught its mud sand/redsand that its used to fill dacon

The choice of material for sand filling depends on the area and budget.

Most areas where the laterite is being used as filling sand have low water table. However for swamp or reclaimed land like Lekki and environs,with very high water table, laterite is not a good filling material. Instead the sharp sand ( white) is used because of it's poor capillarity which prevent water from rising.

Another reason why laterite is also commonly used is because of its availability and price.
