Concrete volume of pile. - 1.43cum.

Drilling of pile. # 18,000.
Casting of pile. # 7,000.

Iron bar.
16mm. 3 pieces. ( full length).
@3900 * 3 # 11,700.

10mm. 2 pieces. ( full length).
@1600 * 2. # 3,200.

Binding wire . # 400.

Iron bender. # 1,700.

Cement.
8 bags. @ # 2,500. - # 20,000.

Granite. # 10,000.

Sand. # 3,000.

Total: # 75,000.

If it is in a sandy area, chemical may be needed.

Why not go back to the Architect that design the drawings,they do have professionals in the construction field.Sometimes trying to play smart can work against you

Well Abimbola, please mind your language about being smart.....after a soil test i just got to know i wd hv to do piling instead of rafting and wanted tobwrap my mind around the cost.

From your architectural u have here, definitely your architect would have discussed with the structural engineer and would have suggested piling of the foundation to you having known the nature of the existing soil on site,you are just trying to cut corners by coming here and looking for free service.
Always engage a professional and u will surely get good value for your money

Nighthawk and Omololu, People like you make it hard to ask for inputs from Nairaland thereby blocking professionals that would have gotten breifs.

My Architect did both architectural and structural (i was naive as i shouldn't have done structural before soil test). Where the structural suggested we did Raft foundation. The Soil test advised Pile foundation.

I am here to get an idea of the cost.

What do you mean by cut conners, last i checked its my project and even if i had gotten a quote. I have the prerogative to seek other opinions.

Or are you guys running an arm twisting monopoly here on Nairaland and blocking other professionals from getting jobs?

If you don't have anything of value to contribute kindly stay of this thread.

I may have to report this harrasment to the Admin

Well said,....you should know what been jobless can do to people's understanding.
English is way too difficult to understand by many these days.

You’re correct sir, column points should be the pile points but I will suggest you add additional 5 to 6 points because of some beam span that are more than 5m.

Just saying this based on my practical experience of pile foundation.
