Let's assume this is correct. What are the steps one can take to rectify this.

You don't assume, Scan the car first..it will point you to direction to remedy the situation

Good morning everyone. I recently bought a tokunbo engine for my Honda Accord 2009 but I noticed the car idles roughly especially when the AC is on. I scanned it and got these codes.
P0010
P0300
P2185
P0302
P0325
I recently noticed there's an oil leak which my mechanic says is from the back seal.
My mechanic claims he has to adjust the timing but I'm skeptical as this is an i4 and isn't subject to timing belt changes like the v6 variant.
I got this engine three weeks ago and wouldn't want it to be tampered with so early.
Please help me diagnose based on the codes above. Thanks.

010 is a timing code no doubt ,

300 is a random cylinder misfire
2185 is a disconnected temp sensor at the base of the radiator
302 is a misfire on cylinder 2
325 is a knock sensor not connected

Sure you got a foreign used engine?

Fix the misfire, knock sensor and restore the system to factory, as I assume fans are connected directly.

Replace radiator if old, use coolant clear the codes and drive after fixing .

Note misfire could be caused by intake leaks, spark plugs, ignition coils, injectors or sticking valves . Carefully diagnose.

The fans are not connected directly. I will replace the knock sensor and diagnose like you advised. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate boss.

Good day guys

1. My car is honda civic 2009 European spec. Want to know if my fuel consumption is high or not. It takes 250-265miles which is 410-425km to finish a full tank. Is this normal or my fuel consumption is high.

2. Why does the 8th gen(06-011) Honda civic American spec have one silencer while the European have 2. Does it mean that the European with 2 will consume more that the American counterparts

Thanks in anticipation
