Honestly, Okoye should be stopping that strike. He reacted much too late. Unlike him judging by his massive showings in the Eredivisie.

Despite the goal, I think the Eagles has been promising.
Simon and Iwobi have been brilliant.

Ndidi is class.

My simple observation. Onuachu moves around lazily. Really hold little presence on the field. Iwobi to me is no difference. He can't give a decent cross, can't dribble, can't even pick a man to mark. Running around with half hearted approach. No wonder everton hardly consider him nowadays. Dude is washed up.

Okoye is never an impressive goalkeeper. I stand on this anyday. When it's right time people of his like will be done with. #Fact. His Germany connection is what his helping him.

Rohr should be bold and ditch the 4-4-2 changing our whole structure because of Iheanacho is not worth it
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Tolulopefinest(m): 8:19pm On Jun 04, 2021
4-4-2 is Killing this team

Can we just change to our usual attacking formation of 433 or even 3-5-2?

This 4-4-2 is not just working

Onuachu is not a marker. This is not his type of game.

Omanbala and co, do you see the difference when layers like Aribo are not in the team?

What do you call this sort of performance? Very disjointed team, after many years Rohr still can't put his team together.

The lad is still good. I just felt he should be doing better for that goal.
That said, he made a fine stop late in the half. Very impressive one-on-one save although it was called back for offside.

Truth is we are having the same problems in an Ndidi-Etebo midfield pairing. No Ball carrier in the central areas.
Also Iheanacho has been stopped by Ngadeu and co when he tries to execute his trademark drop of the shoulder to create a shooting angle for himself.
Onuachu have given the ball away a couple of times and haven't asserted himself enough upfront. Missing that big chance created by Simon Moses' fine fast cross also does not help his showing in this half.
