And Buhari also hold the right to determine what's best for Nigeria by suspending Twitter indefinitely in his domain. We can all be mad together.
If a single man (jack) can unilaterally determine what's permissible or not with his brazen double standard and hypocrisy then a government of over 200M people (voted into power by over 15M voters) also possess the right to kick their ass off.

No, Buhari doesn't have such right. It is becus he is in Africa where things don't work. For something like this, he needed the permssion of the national and state assembly. Buhari shouldnt be the one to decide all that matters to everyone. We have representative.

Na why Nigeria still dey battle for electricity after 60 years. Lol. Such a failed country.

With people like you still around, then there is still some little hope for nairaland. Nice post cool

I am not a fan of Bihari but the facts need to be said. No sentiments here. You cannot delete the tweet of a serving president of a country ( even if you consider him a dictator or what not). It's not done. That's utter disrespect not just to our president but to all of us Nigerians.

Nairaland being what it is, I know some dunderheads will reply me with insults. I will not entertain silly mentions from morons that can't think with their brains cool

Freedom is speech? Is Twitter the only public opinion Platform on the web?

It's not the only.

But that's how it starts.

They ban Twitter, they don't complain because it's not the only one.

Then they say, "He'll, these fools don't even care whether we trample on their rights. Let's ban FB and Instagram too."

Is that when you want to complain?

Confam..

It’s time for Africa to stand and speak up..

It’s time for Africa to own its own;

Social App

Africa bank instead of going to world bank to borrow money(Gadaffi’s idea)

We need a sane Africa union too.

Britain ruled us, we fought to gain independence.

Now, some of us said we don't want to be part of Nigeria. It is not a crime. Just the way u hated Britain ruling u, that is how we hate Nigeria ruling us. I want to be given the right to choose if I want to be part of Nigeria or not. This is no crime.

You think decisions taken at Twitter is solely by Jack?

When Twitter deleted Trump's tweet, the US govt suspends Twitter, right?

The govt should take the issue up with Twitter and not bring Nigerians into it.
This is an abuse of power

Mtcheew! As if twitter gave a hoot about opening an office in Nigeria. They saw all these nonsense coming, hence their decision to choose Ghana over Nigeria as their African head office. Ghana must have been doing something differently, which makes the global investments prefer them over us, the so called giants of Africa despite our size and population. Nothing pulls a nation down faster than bad leadership and buhari had exhibited this all along. I wonder why Jonathan didn't ban same twitter which the apc was channelling their propaganda through, about Jonathan's administration ahead of 2015 elections. That time, it was normal to make such hate comments to the apc but now, its not, just because buhari and his government were disgraced for making such inflammatory and genocidal comments. Nonsense

Dancing to USA tunes and licking its yansh is the only reason..

There’s absolutely nothing special about Ghana..

It is a serious aberration. Sadly, people are only looking at it from the prism of their hatred for Buhari. Censoring the speech of an elected president in another country should never be allowed.

See another myopic one here. So, Michelin, Solgas, Dunlop, UAC, PZ, Wilbros, Amazon, Nigerite etc are all USA companies or licencees too? Was it USA that said they should relocate to Ghana and dump Nigeria? Shamefully, these great companies still send their products to Nigeria to sell. You'd even be worse than buhari if you had the opportunity of being on the corridor of power. Now I concur on the lazy youths he called your likes.

You do realise Jack is one of the good guys right? He didn't have to do what he did FOR US because it doesn't remove anything from or add to his pocket.
Why not sing epics for this one ally that we have.
Don't forget Jack's platform was the only platform that didn't downplay the occurrences at Lekki Toll Gate.
