Nigeria’s situation is in apropos to an aphorism where a neighbor asked to borrow money from a friend with a promise to effect the loan in only money making schemes. Rather following thru on said promise, the Neighbour decides to use the loan to buy canes to beat his children with… In such a scenario, would u want to loan money to the Neighbour again? For a country that goes about hat in hand, begging for loans across the shores, is it advisable to show such bravado to your own populace? Many of them here are siting China as a “no nonsense” republic. They fail to understand China is self sufficient in ways we cannot even fathom. Nigeria can only be described as a “proud beggar” |
