DiagnoPolitics:
Every year many young men in nigeria become disillusioned about the country and commit suicide inside their own houses by hanging themselves inside their own houses or drinking insecticides and dying like fouls when they can easily make a name for themselves by picking up arms and marching to buhari's residence in Abuja in their hundreds to boot out the source of their problems and etch their names forever in the book of history?

Why die cowardly in your house as a non-entity when you can take a bold chance and be remembered forever as heroes who tried solving the people's collective problems?

#JustThinkingOutOfTheBox.
Lol, you're smart. Why die anonymously in your room and be buried and forgotten when you can be a kamikaze and have your name etched in history books forever.

But you can take the lead or are you not frustrated about things in Nigeria or don't you want your name to be remembered forever grin grin

I clearly support your view. Committing suicide is just a waste of life. It is is time to start murdering every single government officials.

What's troubling is the fact that everyone especially the youth seem to be having a good laugh at all that's happening without seeing that there's war knocking on their doors.

Now is the time to begin readying your minds and bodies for any possibility young people, a full blown crisis doesn't seem unlikely.

If the freedom of speech Twitter so much cherishes is real then why delete the president's tweet in the first place?
There is no absolute freedom of speech anywhere so let's stop deceiving ourselves.
They don't know.

Well I am not disillusioned, I think many years ahead of buhari and his evil policies. Immediately he won the election, I converted all my liquid assets to solid properties and changed liquid cash to dollars and pounds along with many other measures I took, I only use naira to pay salaries and buy household stuffs.

I can't be disillusioned when I have studied the fulani bushmen closely and know they have nothing to offer humankind. grin

There is no kind of lie Igbo people won't tell.

Re: South Africans React To Nigeria's Twitter Suspension (TWEETS) by barragan: 1:16pm On Jun 05, 2021
Why are Igbo people such compulsive liars? Why? huh

When did the president mock Igbos or claim to have killed 5 million of them. How many people in total even died in the civil war? When we talk about the civil war Igbo people will have you think that they did not kill anyone during that time, knowing how they are now I am sure they must have committed crazy amount of atrocities at that time.

I heard that Nigerian leaders announced on the same Twitter than they were banning twitter grin
And Twitter didn't delete it - freedom of speech. I guess it's about taking on your advesaries on their own turf. But I bet it was less calculated than that on the part of NG govt.

But u were right earlier IG, there's still an axe to grind regarding Ghana HQ. But twitter definitely dodged a bullet on that decision - they foresaw this sort of thing happening in the future.

Re: South Africans React To Nigeria's Twitter Suspension (TWEETS) by Explicit02: 3:33pm On Jun 05, 2021
The honest truth is Nigerian government can ban twitter if the legislative (masses spokesperson) deem it fit to ban...not just over the night without due process...

Twitter has the right to remove or ban if u violates its rules and regulations so also the nation can do vice versa....

If a government had designated a group as a terrorist group, Twitter has no justification to allow such groups to propagate their rhetoric via their platform.

If you use America as a case study here u re totally wrong twitter has a full right license to operate in America so far it didn't break America's law so also anyone in America must not break twitter law... Even if jack twits send a wrong signal the message will be removed.

We all know if u write what nairaland mods see as against its rules u will be suspended (ask Nwamaiipke)

Nigeria should follow due process that's my own opinion

U cants use Facebook in China....
And no one crucify China for that

The thing is Twitter believe that President Buhari's comment is Genocidal and breaks it rule while Buhari thinks that he can not be wrong. But Twitter is a company while Nigeria is a country. Twitter is a platform while Nigeria is an entity. Twitter gave Nigerians the platform to express their thoughts of which Nigeria chose to be part of as an entity. Twitter is not a Nigerian institution and so can not be influenced by it constitution.

He should even be taken to court in line with our constitution.
What are Kanu's tweets?

Love speech? You only deceive yourselves.

Buhari's tweet was directed at terrorists across Nigeria so if its hate speech against them, then it's welcome.

Nigeria is a sovereign nation, if Twitter can delete the president's comment because he 'violated' their rules then Nigeria can ban Twitter for being a threat to national security.
Tit for tat (God no vex).

I didn't finish what I was saying. It is not needed though because you didn't ask me for opinion.
But Twitter is owned by a man. Nigeria is owned by about 2 million people. These people gave one man an opportunity to lead the nation by majority vote. If you can confirm that the majority of Nigerians have President Buhari go ahead with the ban on twitter, then there won't be any argument at all. So, the argument comes from not the sovereignty of the nation but from the arrogance and dictatorial attitude of the president. You are free to support the president though. But at least, try to understand the error he had made and give advice from there. That is what patriotism is all about.

With Buhari winning the elections he has the mandate of 200million people, whether you voted for him or not. As president he swore to defend the integrity of this nation and that is what is being done by banning an openly biased app that is promoting terrorist views and deleting the comments of the president warning them not to test the resolve of this government in keeping this country safe and secured.

Who are the criminals? Please listen to yourself. The bandits are not criminals? Right? It's the people who are fighting for their freedom for whatever reasons that concern them.

Do you know what a civil war is? Please do not wish for it.

Terrorists must have a different definitions in your dictionary. Terrorists kill or scare people. The only people the Easterners were afraid of before soldiers came around was Fulani Herdsmen. Now they are afraid of soldiers instead. So who are the terrorists.

If what should give you confidence of saving you is keeping you on fright mood, there is no need to have it around.

When killings and cry of the innocent becomes music to the ear, the oppressor won't be move to sympathy.

Fighting for freedom by attacking security agents, burning government buildings is called terrorism and terrorists will be dealt with.
The order to shoot anyone with AK47, was it not directed at the bandits and Fulani terrorists huh
I don't wish for war that's why I agree the president has to be tougher on terrorists.
