Hello Everyone and Gurus in the house,

Please I need help with some questions - response from anyone will be greatly appreciated.

1. What are the requirement needed to apply for study permit for my children (Ages 4,10 & 13)

2. What documents are needed?

3. How will their SOP look like? (Will be grateful to receive samples SOP from anyone)

4. Will they be required to carry out biometrics?

Please I will really appreciate a response

Thanks in advance.

I did at Qlife clinic. You only need your International Passport. That's all.

Did you pay before the appointment day? Because on their website now… you’ve to pay before appointment day ‍♀️‍♀️

You are applying for your children to join you. I don't think it's called study permit. There are very few people on this thread that can provide proper guidance when it comes to family application, @Frankrobbn1 is the only one I can think of. Those that have been able to successfully apply for their children, understandably won't have time for nairaland after awhile. If you've seen such success stories, you might need to send PM to the poster. There's one particular lady but I can't remember her moniker. She's no longer active like she used to.

Hello House,

I'm having a little challenge with my application and trying to find the best solution to it.

Dad is my Sponsor and my Uncle whom I stay with is my Co-Sponsor.

Got my admission in 2020, which I already paid part tuition as requested. Had to defer to Sep 2021 due to the pandemic. In the process, I lost my job in April 2020, and ever since I've been on my own as a freelancer. Providing IT support to SME and Importation of Gadgets which I must say has earned me more than I've earned during my 9-5 days.

The issue now is how do I go about explaining such on my application and SOP.

I'm confused, to be honest.

Yeah, you can apply for express entry after masters in UK, and uk is now giving 2yrs post graduate work permit. With the work permit you will be able to boost your crs score and also pass ielts very well. It is just very risky if you don't meet up with the crs score you are back to UAR.

For those applying for gcms note, ensure your application is more than at least 4months old before applying. Reason is if you applyinv too early, you won't see jack on your gcms note o. No vo concern or anything to show they require something from you.

Please check your email

I will advise you go for the PGD program and upon arrival in Canada you can initiate the transfer of DLI.

It will end in praise

Hello Frankrobbn1,

Thank you for your immense contributions. You are a gem.

A quick chip in; should the moniker (still) effect a change of DLI from within (outside) Canada, a new study permit will have to be applied for.

One love!

Prisscindy:

She has finished one trimester, registered as part time, it was actually the university that registered her as part time. She registered the new trimester as part time too but I would tell her to increase the number of courses so it'd be full time.

Thank you for pointing that out, I didn't know it has got something to do with PGWP though. She's an undergraduate student, do you think it could be made up since she is supposed to finish in 4 years?

Moreover, her dad was of the opinion she changes her course to nursing when she gets to Canada.

Hello Prisscindy,

Yes, it is possible. However, the advice of her DLI supersedes. Let her reach out to the program advisor or her course advisor, also, to the international office (the importance of this shouldn't be downplayed). The advice of the international office may counter that of the program or course advisor.

Your posts on the EE thread are insightful.

Cheers!

Please I would like to confirm if I could use deed of gift by my dad worth 8M to make a self-sponsored visa application. Please how do I go about it? Please I need your opinion:

@Franrobbn1
@justMellow
@Justwise.

Many thanks

Hello Modestmj,

Before considering doing a deed gift for SP application (EE exempted), consider these:

- how financially sufficient or independent are you
- do you have at least a fairly or average sitting balance
- is your inflows in good flowing condition
- is the gifter financially sufficient
can I present the gifter's financial record as evidence
- how will the officer react

I believe this answers your question.

Best of Luck

Happy Sunday everyone. I applied April 11th and I submitted my IELTS and normal bank statement and did biometrics April 26th since then no Nse request and no eligibility review. I’m thinking if I should send MBS on the webform so maybe my application can be faster. Note that I already submitted normal bank statement o. Should I go ahead and raise a webform for MBS.

Hello Gracehayford1,

If it is accessible to you, do as you've said, go ahead.

Best of Luck

Please I need an honest reply.

Is it very late to apply for TRV for Sept admissions.
Got an offer since but I was weighing my other options.
Should I just defer or is there a tiny bit of hope considering IRCCs deadline of may 14th

Hello Avidreader748,

Don't defer, submit.

Best of Luck
