I opened my glove compartment and thought to check my AC filter and the attached was what I saw with rat faeces.

Any suggestion on how I can curb this menace cos I can't think of how this rat gets into the car.

I'll be replacing the filter though smiley

Thanks

Good morning,
Please I almost had a break failure yesterday. This is what happened. I took my car to car wash yesterday and the car wash guy re
parked the car and put it on handbrake. I don't usually use handbrake 'cos each time I use it the car usually get stuck. So, I stopped using it entirely.

Yesterday, unknown to me that the guy put it on handbrake, I started driving it like that. I started hearing some Strange sound as I drove, which I ignored. After some time, I sped and I decided to slow down by pressing the brake, but the brake pedal became so soft and the car was still moving. I was confused, then the handbrake came to my mind, so as I made to use the handbrake I saw that it had been applied already, then I quickly press it down and pressed the brake pedal again. The brake pedal started responding slowly until it back to normal.
Because of the fear that it may fail again, I manage to drive the car back home with a low speed while the hazards light on.

What could be wrong and what need to be examined and rectified?

The car is 2005 Toyota corolla.

We can't tell you what the problem is with your brakes cos we haven't physically seen, tested and diagnosed it.
Better go fix that brake before it lands you in trouble.

As long as you don't use your parking brake , brakes are fine. When brake pads or lining generate excessive heat, brakes fail, as at this morning brakes should be back to normal

First of all, ensure that your oil level is in between the minimum and maximum mark on your car's dipstick. or maybe required car recovery services that tell you which kind of problems you are facing. If you’re low on oil, you risk breaking down or causing damage to your car’s engine. Too much oil can cause damage, too, so don’t just pour a whole bottle in.

If I am not mistaken, that should be the AC vent for the rear passengers.

Good evening everyone. Please I need your advice.

I recently bought engine for Mr Toyota Corolla LE 2003. The mechanic that fixed it for me recommend that I use VISCO 2000 engine oil which I did. Now I have made some research online and discover they VISCO 2000 isn't a good oil for the car. I have driven the car for about 2500 Odometer with the VISCO 2000 oil and no issues.

I want to change my engine oil to a very good oil,. I don't want oil that will damage the engine I borrowed money to buy at the long run.

Please if I change the oil will it affect the engine?

Kindly recommend a very good oil I can use that is relatively affordable.

Pardon me I discovered mobil 1 is good but very very expensive.

Is there any Other good oil out there that isn't too expensive?

Please your advice will be highly appreciated

Look for liqui moly engine oil (it's a German product) . Call Chinedu on 0 817 903 1578 for Liqui moly engine oil.

That car is prone to leg pull and gear box issues forget about the beauty. I would rather drive a manual terrain of that car than auto. But 170k for a 1999 car gear box. I beg go to the market yourself and make findings. Even if you repair it, it will not last. Just count your loss and buy a new gearbox.

My car AC stopped working 2 weeks ago and after we fixed the coil it picked up again, working perfectly. The guy that fixed it said it got burnt because the radiator is single cell and manipulate the fan to be working continuously.
My questions: will buying double cell radiator have any impact since it's single cell that came with the car?
Will there be any effect on the fan as a result of what he did?
Thanks...
