GAZZUZZ:Good evening, update on the replacement of the four coils of corolla 2009.
After replacement of the coils (4). The problem still persist. It was later suggested that the cylinder gasket was the problem . Lol and behold , after removing the top part of engine , the gasket has cut. My mechanic change the gasket and the car is now working perfect. Thanks

Hello Oga Gazzuzz
Good day, I’ve come again. Thanks for how you helped me the last time, I really appreciate the good work you are doing.
The Alarm of my car goes off on its own, I’m talking about the alarm that prevents people from stealing the car, the one that goes off when you press the red button on the car key. It goes off at weird times like in the middle of the night or in the afternoon. I don’t think anybody wants to steal the car because I park it close to my house inside a compound of only four people. What could cause this issue please, this is a recurring issue that disturbs the whole apartment especially at night.
The car is 2011 Toyota Camry.
In a related or unrelated event, I just changed one of the TPMS recently and this only started after the TPMS issue. I don’t know if it is connected to this or not, other than that the car has never had any major issues.

get sandpaper and a 10mm wrench, remove all door switches and clean the contacts . If you cannot, pay someone to do it .

Has anyone considered insurance for his/her vehicle against unforeseen circumstances too?
We need to look into this as well. Or we prolly create a forum for this.
However, you can contact me if you need insurance on your vehicles with the certificate within 48 hours (in Nigeria). I can assure you, no stress

Good evening Mr Gazzuzz, I was the one that called you about the oil sump of an Acura TL on Sunday. I hit a big stone covered by water In Sangotedo which made the oil sump burst this is due to low ground clearance level of the car,is it advisable to raise it or change tires it came with 255/45/R16 in front while 255/60/R17 at the back. The sump has being fixed by getting a replacement but I don’t want a reoccurrence.

If it will fit, go for it.
But if you have bad roads, buy a car with better ground clearance

Goodmorning fellow nairalanders!
I drive a toyota Corolla 1999 model my brake keeps making this loud whistling noise when ever press the break pedal, the last Kareem I went to said the break pad are still ok and he filed the two back break lining cover it stopped for a day, now the noise is back again. it's making me to be ashamed especially when am in traffic please if you have had similar experience how did you fix it please help a brother. The noise is giving me sleepless nights.
Please sir Gazzuz help me.
|Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by Grupo(m): 11:41am On Jun 03|
Lol. Why are you ashamed that your brake pad is making noise?
The only way to stop it is to buy original brake pads and linings.
Not those ₦3,000 Asimco pads.
Me self, my brake pads dey whistle. And I don't care, since I no get shame.

I just won this clean Audi A4 at an auction for $1350 (N650k). By the time you add shipping and clearing cost, the amount will balloon up to N1.9m
This is why cars are very costly in Nigeria.
But I am still able to save like N400k though because buying it from a car dealer will cost at least N2.4m

Ok bro thank you, how do I buy original pad and linings? Is it new one or tokunbo?
|Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by adubam(m): 4:22pm On Jun 03|
There are two things involved here: Have you checked your brake hub to be sure that it is OK. Secondly I'll advice you to buy confirm Belgium or follow come pad.
