Twitter will never beg. The content in the newspost showed the federal government rather, would be the one to reverse their decision...just watch. Dem no get that kain liver. I will come back to you in a few hours to come after the ban would have been lifted.

Twitter is already making amendments

“We are not saying that Twitter is threatening the country or any such thing; why we have taken this measure is to stop them to be used as platforms for destabilisation and facilitation of criminality or encouragement of criminalities,” he also said. He that has ear let him hear and hear well; no grouse against Twitter, The federal government has said that for the umpteenth time! let those who have ears hear well.

What amendment? Kindly post it here if you know if any. Rules are rules. Donald trump's tweets were pulled down as a serving president , nothing happened. Let's wait and see who will beg who.

You failed completely in governance with the state sliding into anarchy with all signs of a failed state, yet turn around to blame a communications tool for your failings.

It is foolishly disingenuous to consider for a moment that the myriad of problems facing Nigeria at the moment will simply vanish into thin air because the culprit, Twitter, has been taken out

Uarian take it easy now. People are using twitter to sell and buy and also to brand their businesses and follow international brands. One illiterate who thinks twitter is just for chit chat cant just ban twitter cos they hurt his feelings. What does a professional cattle herdsman know about twitter?

He talks like an idiot, that's why he was banned. He cant shut down twitter because of his personal aggressiveness and tribal genocidal tendencies.
He is probably still eating from his mother's pot and has no plan of stopping any time soon.
We hustling Nigerians are the real losers from this Twitter ban.

Traffic on Twitter hasn't thinned out. I was off Twitter for a very long time, now I just got a free VPN (there are so many free VPN services for Android and PC) just to check Twitter and it's still the same thing, same arguments and baseless conversations there.

It is only big businesses and government institutions that are off Twitter... The VPN that you need for Twitter doesn't need to be the fastest or offer so much gigabytes of data (because of how Twitter is generally).

After 2 weeks, FGN would realise that regular users in Nigeria would still be there using Twitter as if there is no ban. FG cannot enforce the ban.

I am sure you are disappointed all your threats are wishful thinking are coming to nothing. Ndo for you.

You have just seen phase 2 today - directing media houses to get off Twitter and the summoning not the diplomats.

Phase 3 is coming.

Also notice the way the traffic on Twitter has thinned out.

A user is telling a social media platform to use itself responsibly. What an irony

It's like a smoker telling a cigarette to smoke responsibly.

FG is similar to a smoker, puffing smoke and warning the remaining cigarettes in the pack to be careful, that smokers are liable to die young.

In addition to that, Twitter should tender an unreserved apology to the president with a promise to always delete tweets that compromise the sovereignity and territorial integrity of Nigeria.

The hunch-back, ashewo-fuckin', demented, IPOBic albino based in the U.K should also be permanently banned from Twitter.

Without doing the aforementioned, the ban remains.

What makes it more painful is that these people are young people, not from the north and are educated. angry angry angry
Sincerely what you said above is the shocker for me. Hence I decided for my sanity of mind to just look on. Trust it would hit harder on their side, now or in no time.

France has been looking for ways u get taxes from social media giants because they don't have any tech giant company from France. Very jealous and cunning people as usual.

Nigeria abuses human rights and that's what Twitter ban is about.

If you could reason properly you would not introduce the "black man" comment

Clearly you have a complex

Free speech is relative thing

France has a "Holocaust " denial law but criticizes those with blasphemy laws. Is that not hypocrisy
In many of these countries including Twitter religious opinions on homosexuality are blocked in the name of "hate speech"

We need to learn how to debate issues without taking sides personally

There is no contradiction. I support the ban on Twitter but I do not support Buhari's government
Buhari will not be there for ever

Twitter must show itself as subordinate to our laws

That means it it has any issue it should go TO A NIGERIAN COURT
Now if Twitter is not registered as a business in Nigeria it cannot do that so this is a smart trade move opening up the space for Nigerian companies
Since the ban started who has lost more? Twitter or Nigeria? Nigeria lose 2 billion daily due the ban. How much is Twitter even gaining from Nigeria?
