Police and soldiers have been killed in the East, YES. Many of us do not support it. But the number mentioned is an exaggeration.

IPOB have been peacefully protesting and agitating for a referendum up until the murderer-in-chief took over in 2015! He delighted in sending his moronic henchmen down to the east to be picking them off like sitting ducks! Likewise, ever since he took over in 2015, Igboland has witnessed at least three instances where Fulani herdsmen/criminals/foreign-mercenaries invaded and hacked down innocent men, women, youths and kids! Buhari, whose primary role is to protect lives and property did and still does nothing to prevent these attacks.....attacks not just in Igboland, but all over the country!

Equally, our useless governors in the south-east didn't want to initiate any armed response to prevent future attacks, maybe because they're beholden to Abuja and didn't want to offend Buharis' sensibilities! In view of this, Mazi Kanu and IPOB then formed ESN to protect Igbos since Buhari and our useless governors didn't seem interested in doing anything! ESN rightly went on to rout out these foreign murderers from our forests and bushes, where they hide and disguise as 'innocent herdsmen' (other places they hide are in the barracks as well as blending into the Hausa population in the various ama-Hausas' in our cities)! The Fulani president and his cabal were bristling with fury as they saw the formation of ESN as Igbos trying to 'assert themselves', which wasn't part of the post-uncivil war script that said 'Igbos are a conquered people who are below the Fulani and should be reminded of this at all times'! The response of Buhari to the formation of ESN....as well as the stupidity of Uzodinma in giving his blessing to Buharis' Fulani soldiers attacking Orlu, is the genesis of all the UGM, bloodshed and insecurity you see in the south-east today! Typically, a failure of leadership spurred on by bigotry, hate and a belief an entire ethncity are below you!
