Your people need to have balls to replicate this

No, we don't need that kind of balls.....mnk needs balls to come back home and lead from the front, that's what men with balls do. Under a month less than 2 esn commanders dead and scores of igbos.

Goodluck with that.

It's only a pity that it is the innocent and law-abiding igbos that will suffer when the criminals, rapists and hired killers freed from the police stations that were burnt start continue their operations of robbing, killing, burning innocent citizens from their bush hideouts.
They will look for these same policemen and women to protect them from these loosed animals on prowl, but won't find any!

We pray non of our and your family members will be affected by this.
May God protects our mothers and sisters and all family members in that part of the nation.

Shut up, how many towns have barracks been dislodged, which war was fought, why claiming victory over nothing?

government might decide to withdraw tactically, stop sounding like an Ipob fool.

Are Ipobians this dumb and loud, or is it the poor jobless ones like you...cos this level of thinking is very low. Absence of police only give way to criminals to operate, what is the victory in this for the average Ibo?

What of the one from Ore to Benin? The last time I passed through that road, From Ore to Benin, there was a check point for every pole distance.

The illegal checkpoints on the Southeast roads were really cause for concern because of the level of extortion that were carried out by State's operatives.

Last January, I traveled from Ikot Ekpene to Benin, passing through Aba-Owerri-Onitsha road. I was so angry and mad that you can not even drive 500m without seeing a checkpoint, and the least amount they'd take from you was N200.
To my greatest surprise, the Immigration and even Road Safety personnel we're also taking their shares.

Somehow, all this has to stop.

Haunty, go sleep. Everyone knows the importance of the police. Besides, you rarely see a community without a vigilante group in the east.

When the police continuously extort money from the same people they are assigned to protect, someone has to call them to order.

The funny thing is that these policemen don't even care about coming from the same tribe whenever they see an avenue to extort money from you.

Most of them will start speaking pidgin English when you speak your language. Now, when you speak correct English, they feel inferior and threatened. That makes your case worse.

The IGP had ordered for the removal of all highway checkpoints throughout the nation to be replaced by patrols. It is not peculiar to any given location.

I'm happy for you guys. There is nothing as good as meeting your ETA when you travel on police free roads.

Some people might be saying that there is potentials for increased highway crimes, but I dare tell you that their absence from the roads did not really make highway crimes worse. The #EndSars aftermath revealed that fact. I though their being off the road will mean more crimes, but I was surprised that the road was as free as it should get. In fact, highway crime seems to lessen somewhat because many of these highway police and also highway robbers cos they conspire with highway kidnappers.

Another thing is that since most (9 out of 10 according to statistics from the Sultan himself) highway kidnappings are committed by fulanis, the fact that they have been driven away from the east potends some peace on the highway even in the absence of the Nigerian police.

temptnow:

Never, we don't want it. It's needed in Igangan where Fulanis are fcking Yoruba women and killing babies

Abeg cut that crap and find a better way to pass the message across.

We know fulanis need to be taught a lesson they'll never forget and as per the crime they committed in Igangan, and to use the same words that dimunitive governor used, with the attack on Igangan, the fulani have taken a debt that must be repaid whether they like it or not

I sincerely hope that something big is being planned, covertly or overtly, to teach 'em a lesson.

Freezby2020:
You are laughing now and praising the UNKNOWN GUN MEN, I pray you will not be victim of the unknown gun men, IJN.

Whn Boko Haram started with Mohammed Yusuf the founder of the cult and that TERRORIST group. Most Northerners especially, the Muslims among them, have SENCE of False security and inwardly happy when ever Churches or Christians were attacked. With the believe that the group will never touch them.

Fast forward to 2021, over 90%, of same Northern Muslims who thought Boko Haram TERRORISTS are for Christians and Southerners alone, can not visit and has not visited their States in more than 8 -10yrs.
They hid their families in ABUJA(the only city in the North that has sameblance of peace), LAGOS, SOUTH Western States. While the privileged ones among the elites hid their families abroad.

Much as I really don't like how the police extort and carried out it operations in most part of Nigeria, I guess they are still better that THUGS. SOMEONE SAID, "IF YOU HATE POLICE, TRY THUGS"

What is the lesson in all this, pray that there will be peace in Nigeria. SO THAT YOU TOO CAN HAVE PEACE

You've apparently missed the point. You see, this thing is about ideology, it's a mindset.
° What is Boko Haram fighting for?
° What is their mindset?
° What is their agenda?
> BH is fighting to isalmize the whole of the country, a polytheistic country for that matter.
> Their mindset is that anyone who isn't a moslem is an infidel that must be taken out by every means possible. The death of a mkslem in that Jihad is considered a necessary collateral and the victims are made to belive that they will get great reward in Aljanah.
> Their agenda is like the above, that is to create a totally Islamic country. If they succeed, don't think they will stop there. They will then use Nigeria as the launchpad to attack every other subsaharan West African countries like Ghana, Benin Republic etc.

The Niger Delta force (NDSPF) also attacked government facilities and installations (although such should not be encouraged) to press home their demands of better living for their people. 15 years after, I have not seen them turn the muzzle of their gun on their people after government installations and foreign oil companies deserted the place. Their ideology is not driven by religion but by ethnic loyalty against a common enemy, the oppressor.

I don't see the South East agitation being like that of Boko Haram of the North.

Those areas are developed, you hardly have such highway robbery ... police only extort money from travellers and commercial drivers conveying goods bought from onitsha to other parts of the state or other states ...
