They thought, we were joking, when we warned of dire consequences, if they try #EndSas kind of protest again...

Nigeria wins again!

Most planned protests are poltically motivated like 2012 fuel subsidy protest. Endsars protests started spontaneous across the nation, reason for the success. It was never planned for.

Even the EndSARS protest was also politically motivated, or didn't you see Hashtags like #BuhariMustGo etc,?

Endsars was not politically motivated. FG was wrongly briefed. It happened spontaneously following viral video of SARS incident in ugheli. Young professionals and civil societies involved in the protests which later became organic. There are so many non- political actors that supported the protests.

If there were no lekki shooting, there would not be anarchy and carnage that followed it. Lekki and ikeja protests were most organised and peaceful why shooting at protesters. Does that make sense to you? What happens to rules of engagement? We should stop unnecessary military involvement in civil conflicts.

no the terrorists/bandits, oppressor win cuz the protest was again them... very soon now bandits will go kill people in village now since they have won and the tribalistic govt will look away but if people retaliate or protest the oppressor will start moving everything at their disposal to stop protest which is people right everywhere

So blocking of roads against other road users, who do not want to join the protest are also peaceful? Do you know how many people that ply that road daily to eke out a living?

I believe this country have resources to stop most of our security challenges but why the govt is not doing is what I don't understand e.g yesterday in Ibadan the huge presence can neutralize any criminal organization in minutes but why are they not doing that but deploying huge resources to protesters but leave herdsmen, bandits and kidnappers to do their thing or does govt benefits from that cus I don't understand it again

No Religious, political or social gathering block roads for days...In the case of #EmdSARS hoodlums, they were given days to vacate the roads for other road users, but they stubbornly refused to heed....You can recall that they were there for days, before the military moved in to disperse them...

You make a grave mistake thinking these people are paid N30k to make these comments. I put it you that most of these people behind these monikers are the educated elite of the Northern and Yoruba Muslim. Some of them are actually highly placed serving public officers and children of the powerful Northern elite. I know for a fact that Buhari spends a lot of time ( A LOT) on Nairaland absorbing everything and forming his closed minded opinions. Most of these people are responding and attacking, not because of money, but because of deep ideological, religious and ethnic motivation.
