Meet The Mexican Man Who Was Born With 2 Heads, See His Photos Before Losing His Second Head

In the early 1900s, Pascual Pinon was a two-headed Mexican man who performed with the Sells- Floto Circus. Pinon had a huge benign growth on the top of his head when he was born.



While it is conceivable for a person to have two heads, a disease known as craniopagus parasiticus, a type of conjoined twins, causes one head to be upside down on top of the other, Pinon's second head was orientated upright like his own.



After suffering from a terrible headache, Pinon lost his second head. Doctors determined that his second head needed to be removed in order to preserve his life.

The two-headed guy remained conscious during the procedure, despite being numbed by novocain. Because his brain was isolated from the tumor, Mr Pinon did not suffer any brain damage.

The promoter drafted Piñón into his freak show and had a fake face made of wax to place onto the growth, allowing the claim that Piñón had two heads. Some reports state that it was made of silver and surgically placed under the skin. After several years of touring, the circus manager paid to have the growth removed, and Piñón returned to Texas
