Hello guys,
Please I'm new here and I need your help cos I have no experience as regards Canadian travel processing.
So I got the handle of some guys on IG that promised to help with undergraduate program in University of Manitoba, no IELTS required cos weac will be used, it's going to be a work/study permit, and tuition will be paid over there, admission process within a month and visa within 3 months.. even though they promised payment after service, I still have reservations cos payment will be in two tiers, you pay for the admission fees as Soon as they're able to show you the admission letter and for Visa when going for the biometrics, I have like four of them... Will post their handles here... Please are they legit or scammers.. as much I love to travel to Canada, I don't want to be scammed.

Good morning everyone, I got my PPR this morning. This is my 2nd application, having been initially refused dec 2020 on financial status and personal assets, and family ties.

Timeline:

Applied feb 10th (there was no need for biometrics since it was 2nd time application)

Eligibility review started feb 17th

May 5th I got medical request
May 25th went for the medicals and I couldn’t see clearly. I was scared. Lol.
June 2nd I passed medical and I started sending webform and emails twice weekly since my application has passed 8 weeks.
June 14th I got PPR and BVL.

Special thanks to justmellow, frankrobbn, Chocs and everyone that responded to my incessant emails and post here. Finally, it has ended in praise.

Please I need the information on what I need to put together for me to send my passport. Also, I want to resume in September instead of May, hope this won’t be a problem as my supervisor has agreed to this. I need y’all guidance. Thanks and God bless us all!

Hello Kelvine95,

I am honoured and thank you for your appreciation. Your GcKey watch is over, big congratulations.

Cheers bro!

Please run for your life...lemme guess they recommended another bsc which is why hey said only your waec..

These guys will swallow your pocket whole. Almost all they said as bolded are lies.

IELTS isnt required by almost all schools.

Obviously a study permit comes with a work permit for Canadian study route

Upon issuance of admission, you will given a specific amount to pay. They know this but those agents won't tell you.

Theres nothing like admission fee pls, its one of those lies they give to extort extra cash from you. I bet you, they will charge your almost the entire fee on admission fee cos nobody here or anywhere can guarantee you a visa approval.

Please avoid twitter agents.. They prey on the less informed and garnish juicy stories to mKe you think canadian study route is as easy as coutonu visa

Please I was sent this by the embassy, please what do I do at this moment. I also have about 6million in the account now, can I print it to send?

Is this a positive thing or...

Hello again,

Do not initiate any lump sum that can't be adequately justified. Respond to IRCC request with what is available. If there is a second account that can provide support, no harm including it too.

Best of Luck

No that’s not correct. I have a pending formal PR application and I got medical request last week, of which my medical result has been updated to pass.

Hopefully, it won’t also be an issue for @Munando. At the end of the day, it depends on the VO’s discretion and above all, God’s grace. All the best to all PPR hopeful.

Hello All,

If one is in the EE pool and also wants to apply for study visa as plan B, will this be an issue?

Hello Munando,

This is not necessarily an issue. All you need to do is meet the requirements of the SP and show genuine intent to study.

Best of Luck

Good afternoon House,
I want to apply for study permit using my elder brother as my sponsor. He is 45years and 1am 40years. I have a BSc in Accounting (3.70/5) with over 8years banking experience. I was offered admission in Financial Planning (PGD)for Jan 2022.
I was shocked when someone told me that it will be difficult to get a study permit if I use my brother to serve as my sponsor. My elder brother is a business man.

Please I will appreciate if I can be properly guided so I would be sure I'm in the right direction both for the course and sponsorship.

Thank you.

Hello Ossysam1,

If for some impossibility you can not use your parents, your sibling is a justifiable guarantor. All you need to do is show sufficient proof of relationship.

As a business, get him to use his savings or personal account and show some financial commitment toward the intent.

Best of Luck

Hello good day everyone. Im new here. I’m perplexed and I don’t know what to do. When I was about starting my application, I researched for the ircc site. I got the site and read up on it. It indicated that I had to complete my registration by May 15th to get a decision by August 6th. I continued scrolling and I saw a link “to start application” ie to start my study permit application. Ircc indicated that that’s the new way of applying, that they had modified their site. I clicked on it and that’s how my application was started. I successfully submitted my application on May 14th.
Now the problem is that I can’t log in to the portal (same link I started with) I have tried severally but I can’t log in. Note that it’s not an issue of forgotten password or email cry
I really don’t know what to do.
This is the link https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en

Please am I the only one in this dilemma? I’m very scared rn

Please, I advise everyone to do their Medicals. Don't wait for Medical Request from IRCC before you do it.

Faster Permanent Residence Pathway for International Student:

1) International Post graduate student in British Columbia become eligible for PR with no prior Job experience

2) In Ontario, they have a program called the OINP Masters graduate stream for people who completed their master’s degree and have lived in Ontario for 1 year. They don't need to show work experience and they don't even need a job offer to apply.

3) In Saskatchewan, there is a program that allow you to apply for PR having lived and schooled for 1 year

Most Provinces has soft spot for International Student to Become Permanent Resident Faster

Oh wow, okay I'll pass across this information to him. Thanks alot Anon123, so let's say like by December he can start applying for a PGD, and also does he need to apply for a new permit from within Canada or just get admission for PGD and he's good to go?

Anon123:

Okay.. If you wish to stay back, you will need to apply for another program. make sure its pgd. Apply 8-6months to the end of the present diploma program. You have an advantage if you are in Canada while doing this

Bro!

I agree with you that scams are commonly associated with online dealings, but not everybody running an online service is a scammer. Please, don't tell people to run from me when they drop my Twitter and Instagram handle for legitimacy verification on your timeline. smiley

I fall in the category of people that run an Instagram Imprint (@GCMSWriters) with a popular service of SOP/LOE writing, vetting & Editing assistance, and some people here can attest to the rendered service. Not everyone can "completely" DIY.

Cheers bro!

One of the Gurus in the house adviced I throw this open to the house.
I have about 6 million in the account at this moment, because I also invested in crypto and all.
Now I got this letter, should I fund my account to get this funds to 10-12 million or will it be seen as a lump sum. I have within the past three months and counting good or fair score as regards inflow and out flow. Or I should just submit the account this thus. I do not have a sponsor to back this up and I guess IRCC wants me to bring my personal account. Someone adviced that I have up to 30000cad equivalent in the account. Or I can send some funds to my account and tag it "Canada Study funds". I have been denied once and this time I have to be careful and saliently answer the rest of them demands properly.

Please friend help treat as urgent.

If you have had this letter before, what did you do afterwards. I wish to send this account tomorrow.

Thanks

Hello everyone, I’m new here and if I knew about this platform i would have applied by myself. However I used an agent.
I applied on April 24th, got biometrics and NSE letters on 26th April, submitted IELTS and my bank statement on 7th May, did upfront medicals and submitted my web form on 27th May. Since May 27th it has been radio silence. Please do I send a mail or do I order my GGMCS notes. I’m hoping to get PPR, this month so I can resign from my Job as I need to give two months notice(July and August). I’ll appreciate any good advice. Thank you

If you have paid Tuition fee, I think you should submit the account of 6m. It's good enough. But if you have not paid Tuition fee, then that is something that's gonna be tough to advise. Also, are you married?
