Whether you agree with me or not, the population of the north is more the less rural. That is to say majority of the northen population are rural dwellers.
Compare with the south which population concentration is mostly town base. And the reasons for this are not far fetched: land and occupation type: For instance, there are numerous researches which clearly show that one of the most dense occupied place in Africa is the south eastern Nigeria. But this does not mean that the people of eastern Nigeria are more in population than every other in Africa.

This city, owned and invested in by ALL Nigerians is presently being administratively controlled by just one ethnic group as we speak! When you ask them, they will tell you the capital of the country moved to Abuja since 1991 (i think that was the year) and so you should remove your 'covetous' eye from Lagos because it now belongs to them....and they're even doing you a 'favour' by allowing you to live there!
