The Itsekiris were birthed from Bini. The Binis even influenced the Yorubas.

The Itsekiri royal heritage should be studied. These names and titles sounds too Yoruba-ish
They are bonafide descendants of Oduduwa.

These are Yoruba names and titles

He did. It was as a result of his intervention and that of other notable Yoruba's that the man was made king.
It is a Yoruba thing and will be handled the Yoruba way again

I think you are wrong with this fact. The Itsekiri were river dwelling people united by a Bini prince. Before the coming of Ginuwa, the people already existed. The Bini only united them, reason why to become an OLU, your mother MUST either be Bini or Itsekiri, but somehow, the Itsekiri were no longer comfortable with the rules.

For example, Omadino people were from Ijebu, Ugborodo were from Ugbo, Escravos came from Ilaje and even till date, these communities still pay ancestral homage to their origin.

U dey mind d fake "Jew" ?

They came from wherever they came from and they met Edo natives on ground, the town is traditionally an Edo town and nothing is changing that.

Efewestern:
Prince Tsola Emiko back in April was announced as the 21st incoming OLU of the Itsekiri people after several consultation with the Ife Oracle.

His announcement was met with resistance by some royal princes and the Ologbostere of Warri, who hinted that Prince Tsola didn't meet the requirements as stated in the 1979 Edict.

According to the Edict, for one of become an OLU of the Itsekiri people, his mother must be either Itsekiri or Edo, but unfortunately, Prince Tsola Emiko's Mother is a Yoruba woman from OGUN.

According to the king makers, previous OLUs with Portuguese and Ijaw mothers were crowned and so the case of Prince Tsola Emiko wasn't new.

Reacting to Prince Tsola's confirmation, opposing princes such as Joseph Emiko, Yemi Emiko, Bernard Emiko, Toba Emiko, Debi Emiko, young Emiko, Dudu Emiko, Jaiye Emiko and Samuel Emiko had a meeting where they all released a joint statement distancing themselves from the announcement made by the king makers.

Today, the son of OLU Ikenwoli, Oyowoli Emiko is taking the battle to court, a move many have condemned.

While the struggle continues, the Delta State government, led by Ifeanyi Okowa has confirmed and reiterated his support for the Itsekiri nation. Also, several Itsekiri groups have sent in their congratulatory messages, including Itsekiri's chapter of the OPC.

Edolised? Who is Edolised? We are pure Yorubas. The only difference between us and SW Yorubas is that we are in the heart of Niger Delta. Unlike the Olukunmis who, for the most part, have lost their Yoruba language, Itsekiri language is CLEARLY Yoruboid.
I'm not arguing that with u...but u can't rule out heavy Bini presence in itshekiri....same with Delta Igbos, they are original ibis with heavy bini-influence

Tsola should be removed with immediate effect and the Itsekiri people should keep shut and know their place in history this is not European culture were you vote to have a king, kings in benin tradition are born and not elected by men or idols king in benin are God themselves who are more Supreme than idols ir deities , again the Itsekiri people should know their plsce in history, the Itsekiri are yoruba who are the subject to a bini king no more to that and should remain so, the Olu stool is from the benin offshoot and has remained like that for centuries, why the sudden remainder that Itshekiris are yorubas and the benin royal stool that has led the Itsekiri people for centuries is now a foreign entity that needs to be checked , the Oduduwa nation and itsekiri misguided populace if they want to have a better fight for self cultural identity, they should join hands together to remove the emir of ilorin before they begin to attack your nearest neighbour's
All i see here is a mere case of the Itsekiri cultural insecurities having a minority ruling them as king, the same case few years ago when the yorubas were planning to remove the emir of ilorin for their own replacement for an oba, again culture is not a democractic platform were you can choose kings with vote or support particularly the benin royal stool were the kings are born and not chosen the law that didn't favour Tsola will favour someone else in a blessing in disguise Tsola didn't make the requirement,
The oba of benin have the final say in all this

Oga nobody is against Tsola becoming king because his mum is Yoruba, rather it’s his cousin (oyowoli) who’s trying to bring him down with such reason which is an outdated norm…the royal Oracle and entire Itsekiri nation has chosen Tsola there’s nothing anyone can do.
And mind you the Oyowoli is not struggling this because Tsola mom is Yoruba but he is doing this because some foolish and selfish persons are pushing him forward, if u know u know.

Oga say what you know, from the way u have spoken, u are not an Itsekiri. Olu stool in Itsekiri is not an appointment or merited. The royal Oracle chose whoever amongs the royal family, it could be anyone it’s not compulsory it must be the son of the demised king.
Secondly, Oba of Benin does not have any final say here, you have very wrong impression there.

Oyowoli should go and rest
His sponsors are just wasting their small money.

All hail the king Tsola Emiko the 21st Olu of Warri

It is lack of knowledge to compare Bini with Yoruba, Bini is just a branch of Yoruba just like Ijebu, Egba, Ekiti, Oyo, Awori e.t.c.

Where did Bini got the world Oba, and Omo-noba from?

Ignoramus, you know nothing about the history you are writing about! Stick with the history of your people, because I doubt if you know anything about that too. The 1st Oba of Benin was from Ife. Since then til date, the royal Benin bloodline is still linked to Ife. The Itsekiri royal bloodline in linked to that of Benin, whence Ife.

What foolishness!

So because they share one or few words, then they are a branch?

Which schools people like una dey go sef?

The word for father in Chinese, Persian, Bengali, Swahili and Zulu is "Baba", and the word for mother in many of these languages is "Mama", so are all these also a branch of Yoruba according to your "knowledge"?

Yeye "yoots" that want to rule a country.
