Good morning mamas. Please help a fellow mama who is seriously worried.

Yesterday, my son started "purging". He pooped about 4 times yesterday, the first two was normal but others were slimmy and very loose.

We do combi feeding. This morning we had two feeding sessions of breastmilk and he didn't poop. Around 6am, he woke up to eat and I gave him formula. In less than 5 minutes he pooped (same yellow slimmy poop with small small seeds.)

I'm suspecting the formula is the culprit here, and I'm thinking of changing it today, as I cannot do exclusive due to baby's large appetite. We have been using Nan 1 since birth. Please suggest other formulas we can switch to that won't upset him. He is 7 weeks old.

Hmmm,I feel u, I am currently expecting my second child, I want a girl, I told dh last night that I may hang booth, even if I want more, May adopt later, he just give me one side eyes, so I understand you, a friend of mine told me how her husband said he want just two, she said lie lie, na four�,when she gave birth to the second child, the stress from childbearing,taking care of her, she told me she knelt down and thanked God for her dh oo,that is how she lock up,they are rich,so money is not the problem,loll,just check urself well,meanwhile get help, I am few weeks gone with a 17month old child that won’t rest me rest��,I am looking for help, I can’t come and kill my self, I don’t have mother, no siblings to help with baby, also from hubby side,no mama, so if I say I wan hang booth, I am in order,��,chai mk I no bore u with long speech ooo

I don laff tire for here. Just scared of taking a decision i will regret tomorrow. Honestly, the situation of this country ehh, one has to be careful oh. Hubby is not bothered. Even if we have help, they can do just little. The stress rests on us the parent. It is well my sister.

Cussons has a complete box of everything including oil, lotion, powder, wash, soap tablet,.
Angels, Johnsons also have similar sets too.

Jimpo is the natural version. Has all natural Shea butter and tear free black soap too. If you'd like to go natural for her, use Jimpo and coconut oil for her.

Boots soap bar is also great. Affordable and plenty, 4 big bars can last roughly six months sef. It has lotions and head to toe wash too

For her hair, there are many hair care ranges for kids.
I usually subscribe to them from when my kids are 6 months old.
There's Maracruiz (tested and trusted, has a whole range too) , Chebe hair care ( Aim07 here sells the whole range and it works! That's what I use for my kids currently and I'm already seeing changes especially with my littlest that has chop chop hair )
Then they should get a spray bottle and put water and coconut oil, mix and spray her hair whenever they want to comb her hair.

Doctor said vitamin A does not have such side effect and said maybe it common cold.
She said we should get "piriton expectorant".
Is this drug good to use for a 6months baby.

Yes, piriton is safe for babies. You can also give Vitamin C

My 6months boy have been so cranky..and it's affecting us mentally.

I don't know if it is just teething or only cold or both...I hate to see him so uncomfortable.

- He has catarrh (runny)
- Coughs (anytime he does this, I can sense
mucus in his throat/chest area)
- Fever (37.4 Deg. Celcius, it drops when he
uses paracetamol)
- this morning now he has lost appetite..the last time he ate was around 4AM
- Cranky attitude

Drugs we use for him (was prescribed by the Dr yesterday)

PCM, Vamee C..this morning I had to go rush and buy Tixylix...

I am tired...what else can we do to relief him...seeing him in that state is making me feel bad.

Please I use boots for my 5months old .The head to toe wash, lotion and oil.I noticed my baby’s complexion is getting lighter.I can see a green vein on face.Is this normal?cos he wasn’t this fair when he was born.Thanks ma

Hello mothers in the house .. I am a first time mom .my baby is 10 days old today. He has practically refused to suckle. If I put breast in his mouth he will shout and struggle to remove it . But if I express it inside feeding bottle he will take it without hassle . This is making me worried and am seeing some signs of postpartum depression in me. Each time he refuses my breast it breaks my heart and I will just sit down and be crying .. someone pls help me I DNT know what else to do

We are in the same shoes mama. You don’t have to make it weigh you down. Just be patient with him and you can also try using nipple shield, I heard it helps.
