Most of the schools in the US don't require any payment of tuition fee before issuing you i20.

For those who their U.S contacts are having issues making the SEVIS fee payment via Western Union, tell your U.S contact to try mailing the money and a Print Out of the SEVIS fee coupon via Money Order as an alternative.

Mine was paid through the Money Order and I got the confirmation email 3 days after.

Now I have an issue that I hope the experience friends here could help me with. I made a request for emergency appointment as my start date falls within 60days (17th Aug). The request was approved and I went ahead to reschedule on the CGI portal. the earliest day I now saw is 6th August (Abuja). So I don't know whether to pick the 6th Aug or check again to see if another earlier date will be available?

In my opinion I will advise you pick that date. Just prepare funds for last minutes flight after your visa is approved

Me: I am going for my Bachelor's degree program in Psychology at Bethel University.

Me: When i was younger i suffered series of depression but i was able to overcome it through the help of a psychologist which sparked my interest to study the course so that I can help a lot more people and the society to overcome depression of any kind.

Me: Apart from Bethel University is known for wide range of research in psychology, their department of psychology is very reputed and they also have lots of international publications. Bethel University soccer program is ranked in the top 10 all over the US and I also got a scholarship of $21k to participate in the sport I love so much.

VO: How do you intend to fund your studies?
Me: My uncle will pay the balance after the scholarship.

VO: What does your uncle do?
Me: My uncle is into real estate. He buys and sale landed properties. He's also a pastor.

VO: Do you have any family member/ relatives in the USA?
Me: No

Get your uncle to obtain a cover letter for the SOA from his bank stating his intention to sponsor you.

On the day of your interview, let the cover letter be in front of the statement.

Yes at the entrance you can drop your bad and phone and will be given a number tag.

use the normal A4

The last time I used Lagos in 2010 I did not have need for such hence do not know.

Check the status of you sevis payment. If it shows paid, print it out and use as receipt at embassy.

The backlog from last year due to the lockdown made it so difficult to get dates. Pick a date and request for emergency. Closer Dates will pop up.

I’ve been trying to pen down schools that offer statistics or biostatistics. I would love to apply for spring 2022

Please I'm in a bad fix, my i20 just arrived with my uncle name affixed as my sponsor. The plot twist is that the school delayed the i20 for so long that we almost gave up, Babaa said he has used up to 70% of the money in the statement he gave me during admission and i20 request for business and won't be expecting any more funds till late September... Unfortunately, my school resumes by first week of August. I have an Aunty willing to assist me with remaining COA which is $37k,no had 38k funding, please what's the best thing to do in this dicey situation?
Please, I need advice! Cos with everything that is happening I believe this year is my year.

You will fill your uncle's information on the Dsform, so they have it already.

just write out your job description. 4 or 5 lines is good enough.

yes and it was approved within 24 hours. i now have a date first week in August
