The police are investigating the Osimhen deal as there seems to be some backhanded dealings in the transfer payment, it seems Gerald Lopez (former Lille owner) transferred the money to himself instead of the club

GOAT

Deserves any hype coming his way in the next decade. He's seen shitty defenders in front of him and yet saved a whole nation from embarrassing days.

Of course
Well, they're not controlled by anybody, so they can do anything. Even FIFA themselves has been dealing with Olympic football. If the Super League had come to reality, FIFA would have died.

It's now left to the NBBF and Coach Mike how to get two strong teams to compete in both tournaments.. We have a very large pool of players from the NBA both tried and available to pick from.. It depends on how willing they are to play.. The afrobasket is one month from the start of the new NBA season ....

Even the US team finds it difficult getting their top players. Nigeria should find it more difficult, right?

The Spanish media hasn’t even start saying this self

But a certain kelvin Phillips is regarded as Yorkshire Pirlo by the English media after one impressive game cheesy

What a disrespect to the great Pirlo

It would have been better if they called him Yorkshire Scott Parker

He might just get some garbage minutes...
Let's hope he is fit in time for the Olympics.

Meanwhile, I just found out that there's a rule that prevents NBA players from playing in two international tournaments in the same year for their national teams..that means we won't be having a full squad for both the Olympics and afrobasket. They are 2 weeks apart..
I wonder how the NBBF wanna go about it

Well you never say never but rosters are always tight this time of the year.

I doubt we would have taken the same team even if those rules were not there. Whoever put afro basket right after the Olympics doesn't want us doing well, simple and plain. But at the end of the day we should have a good enough talent pool to prosecute both tournaments.

Stop blaming Oliseh for the decision of a grown adult na. The last time I checked they were both complicit in the situation. Oliseh was a crazy manager, Enyeama with his own dose of ego decided to retire out of anger without thinking things through, it's not as if Oliseh sent him out if the team. Even after the fiasco, and when Oliseh was no more the coach, the NFF made an effort to bring him back but my guy's ego did not allow him to listen.

Pls don't let us be revising history abeg. In as much as Oliseh head no correct, Enyeama himself no act like a proper professional during the incident. Something that they can't try in their club side even if coach is wrong

Well excuse the man for losing his mother and feeling like it was the wrong time to strip him of his captain band. Oliseh was the only one wrong in that situation. As a former player he should have known better.

It's like you read my mind upon all their squad. On paper I think their squad should be the second strongest after Italy's own.

Oliseh no try yes but Enyeama should have settled things properly with the NFF especially after Sunday left his managerial position. Why Oliseh wasn't sensitive when handling the transfer of captainship to Musa is still a puzzle to me. I mean look at how handled giving Mikel the captain's armband without any fight or hassles. But make we talk true sometimes our national team players display unbecoming behavior with the SE they dare not replicate at club level.

Imagine leaving a tournament with no games won, no games drawn and not a single goal scored.

Turkish football needs a dramatic overhaul. This is so phucking depressing.
