Please I want to know the requirements for travelling to Ghana as regards Covid-19 test using flight.
Do I need to do a PCR Test in Nigeria or do a test on arrival or both?

Do your Covid19 test before boarding flight and prepare to pay at least $100 for test on arrival in Ghana. Search online for the Ghana test site to pay before arrival. You get your result in 30 mins. Come with your yellow card o.

The PCR test should be carried out atleast 72 hours before your departure.

All the best.

A negative result for covid-19 will be demanded at the Airport upon arrival in Accra, Ghana.

Some countries, still go ahead to carry out a rapid covid-19 test while at the Airport. If it turns out negative, you are allowed to proceed to your destination.

A second PCR test must be carried out 72 hours before your departure from Accra, Ghana.

Do you confirm this is still valid?
Re: Travelling To Ghana By Flight: by bigtt76(f): 8:09pm On Jun 20, 2021
Yup still valid. Try and get your Yellow card from Nigeria before departure. You begin the registration process here https://yellowcardnigeria.com/ and ensure you get it dated at least 2 weeks before travel or else it would be trashed at the airport.

Hi ...

Is it compulsory to do it online?
Or go to their office in person?
Re: Travelling To Ghana By Flight: by bigtt76(f): 8:04pm On Mar 20, 2022
Go to their office, you risk getting the fake one but doing it online, you are assured when you for the pickup, you get the genuine card.

How about full Covid Vaccination? Is it really required?
Whats the $50 for if I'm already covid negative?
Re: Travelling To Ghana By Flight: by bigtt76(f): 6:50am On Mar 21, 2022
Its required. Likewise the $50 on arrival. It is to prevent folks coming in with fake PCR test results when they may actually be positive.
