Amaechi begged GEJ severally to complete this road, but GEJ refused. It even caused fight between Amaechi and GEJ. Eventually, GEJ's mother in law died in an accident on that road.

You see how you people come online to missinform people. A road that the section from Onne trailer pack to Akwa ibom state was long completed since 2013 and the section from Mbama to Bayelsa to Eleme junction in Rivers State was also completed since 2014 is the road you are talking about. RCC had the section from Eleme Junction to Cross River State. Online God knows why they jumped from Akpajo thereby bye-passing this bridge. Only for the company to start construction from Trailer pack down to Akwa Ibom state.

Is on record that, since 2015 this company has suspended work, maybe due to lack of funding.
You people should always cross-check your facts before coming online to state what you don't know. Even before and during the disagreement between Ameachi and GEJ work was still ongiong in that road.

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed Reynolds Construction Company (RCC) to undertake immediate intervention on the damaged Aleto Bridge at KM 6+500 on the East-West road Section III(A) by Eleme, Onne Junction to alleviate the plight of motorists and reduce the sufferings of the people.

I find this genuflection by the impostor in Aso Rock simply as a way to assuage the "so called" Niger Deltans. The FULANI TERRORIST ZOO government knows that the gig is up and the sh*t is about to hit the fan. So, in order to placate the people of Niger Delta, it hurriedly announce that it would fix the bridge ASAP. Would it have done so under normal circumstances? The answer is absolutely NO!
