What they are asking for is your international passport and your travel health insurance, if you have already sent this documents to them, write them and inform them about the date you dropped it off either by yourself or by courier, provide them with the name of who received it and delivery date.

Thanks

I figured I had my Passport with me

How do I suggest I post it?

Myself or via courier?

Please how does one get this travel health insurance?

You are not a nice person. You are one stage ahead of me and I asked you questions relating to the stage you just passed and you couldnt respond but here you are asking a question.

How Ironic.. If others are like you, this thread will be dead

If it’s convenient for you, you can drop it off yourself that’s if you reside in Lagos, otherwise, it’s also safe for you to post it to them, I strongly advice you use DHL or UPS so you can conveniently check to know when it has been delivered, and then you can write the embassy to inform them that it has been delivered with date and who name of who received it.
Note: write your intended travel date on any available space on your travel health insurance but make it like 2 weeks ahead considering that they need minimum 7 days from the date your passport was delivered and also consider the days it would also take for the courier to deliver your passport.
Then also look out for your passport as the embassy would also send it back to you via the courier envelope you submitted during your application.
Congratulations

I already got health insurance in Germany. My company did that on my behalf.. Do I still need another Travel Health Insurance and how many months?

If you live in Lagos, then it’s better you take your documents to them yourself as that makes it faster for you. Congratulations because the last email you got from them was an indication that your visa has been approved, you are given your passport and insurance to get your visa sticker.

Check if the Health Insurance your company got for you includes Travel Insurance coverage. You can also contact them to be sure. For all I know, your Health Insurance will not be activated until you land in Germany. In your case, the Travel Insurance is a requirement for the purpose of your travel only. You can get up to 6 months. But since you have a health insurance already, you should be fine with 3 months insurance.

For most people, it covers them in the course of travelling to and initial stay in Germany until they obtain a proper Health Insurance if they are staying more than 6 months in the country.

I don't know if it will be possible for her hubby to get a lawyer from there to write the embassy to find out what the problem might be. My opinion though

Hi please I have finally received my visa from the embassy. Please I just found out some documents are missing.
I took the vorabzudtimmug and Bundestagentur fur arbiet documents but only the vorabzudtimmug was returned to me. My Bundestagentur fur arbiet is missing. Please is this normal? Are they not supposed to return this as well

Hello Dreadlord

Did you get your Bundestagentur fur arbiet back?

If so, how did you go about it?

Yes. That was about 36 or 38k at the time, can't remember. However, they refunded it back to me because my husband is a German Citizen

I filled the both but the one they collected from me was the one i filled online(videx), better take it along cos it's expensive to do it there.

Hello Nairalander,
I have a question, please...
My mum got an appointment date for a schengen visa but her new passport might not be ready before the appointment date......So,I just want to know if she can go with her expired passport and will be grant entry...
Thank you.
Re: General German Work And Family Re-union Visa Enquiries by nuel80: 2:56pm On Jun 19, 2021
The only way you can solve the A1 issue is to read and work hard to pass the exam, there’s no back door to it o. Work harder, you will make it.

Her expired passport is not a valid document, that man at the gate will show her pepper if she goes there with the expired passport. It’s a short term visa she’s applying for, so they would need to hold the passport, and it has to be valid for minimum 6months and with at least 3 empty pages.

Hi nuel80

The embassy has requested travel insurance and travel dates from me.

Can I indicate just my departure date since I'm going on a work visa?

Thanks

Yes it’s only your departure date you need to give them, but your departure should be minimum 7 days from the day you would submit it.

Hi Nuel,

does the embassy reply mails?

They have asked me to send a copy of my contract which I have done but I'm uncertain if it was recieved.

Is there a dedicated mail and phone number to reach the embassy? The numbers on their website dont always go through

have an idea?
