Please what do they check when doing background checks?
nifnifemi:
Please Notify them.

It will only make your application timeline longer but background checks will be done and its might be discovered.

Remember you will still apply for your spouse in future and if your document does not correlate, it might affect your PR application.

I know of someone who did not include siblings correct information while applying for Study permit but it came back to hurt the person while applying for PR.

Canada is a data deriving country, So do it right.

Congrats to all who got their PPR. I am happy for you guys.
I applied on the 14th of May and it's only my biometric that has been updated, although I have not done my medicals(I am booked for 8th july)
I have not gotten any other update.
No eligibility, No background checks nothing. Should I be worried?
Your Background checks should start immediately you submitted your application.

Good afternoon everyone,

Is abnormal Blood pressure a red flag in medicals? Kind of nervous in medicals.

Thanks in anticipation for an answer

Not it's not. The Koko about medicals is for them to know if you are aware about any underlying conditions you may have and if you are seeking medical attention for it. It's a red flag if you have high bp and you are unaware.

Congratulations on your ppr.

Please can I ask you few questions?

1. You said job, are u working presently? If you do, did you include your employment letter in the submission?

2. Your account statements you dropped,
was it the one you use to get salary from your job? Or just anyone?

Kobayashi01:
Good morning my people. Long post alert.

Firstly, I’ll like to thank Almighty God for coming through for me. I just got PPR.

Timeline
Did upfront medicals: March 28 (IOM)
Applied: April 7th
Background check started immediately
Biometrics updated: April 12th
Medicals updated to passed: April 13th
Eligibility review started: Around April 28 (I didn’t note this, it was until I discovered this thread I knew it was noteworthy)
Orders GCMS notes: June 11
Emails and web forms to Lagos and Nairobi: June 16
Bvl and PPR: June 23 (7:50am)

First time applicant.
I discovered this thread after I had applied and I immediately noticed some mistakes….. I didn’t submit my BSc transcript and I had lump sums moved to my dom account, although I briefly stated that the funds were transferred by my immediate family members in my LOE (this was verifiable from the statement’s inflow) and I also had almost zero outflow on the account.

I submitted personal MBS, papers statements of my sponsor and IELTS with my application so there was no NSE request.
My brother is a Canadian PR and he is my sponsor. I had tuition for 1 year and flight money in my GTB Dom account and he had my 10k CAD living cost set aside in a savings account of his.

I’m 25 years old and my program starts in August. For home ties, I used a property that was gifted to me by my mum, my parents and my job.

When I saw that people who applied after me were getting PPR requests, I started to lose faith. My mum saw I was down, prayed with me and I felt enlightened again. I want to encourage you all to keep the hope high. God will do it.

Good afternoon, can anyone provide me information as I didn't submit my police report with my letter of reference. Is it still possible to submit my police report after my reference has been submitted. it's exactly a month I did. what procedures is needed to provide them urgently?

As per the bolded. I doubt it. When I did my medicals, I booked for 10am. Then my flight was to enter lagos some mins before 9am. But due to delay, I entered 11am. With fear, anxiety and heart pounding that my time has passed, my BP clocked 160 when the nurse was checking me even though I never had any bo before. I narrated the same to doc, he said I shouldn't worry.

Mind you I have passed the medicals even with the 160.(although it became normal when I got home)

What I think they are looking at is sickness that will be a financial burden to their health system and risk to life of Canadians.

My own thoughts though.

Hello,

Yes, I’m currently working. I got the job about one and a half months before my application. I included both my employment letter and my approval for study leave.

I dropped both my salary account statement and my domiciliary account statement (where most of my money was). I had just about 60k in my salary account at the time of applying.

Hope this helps.

It states and I quote " If you submitted your complete study permit application (including your biometrics and immigration medical exam) by May 15, 2021, you should get a decision by August 6, 2021, in time to attend the fall semester."
Except I'm misinterpreting what it says, all 3 must be submitted by May 15 to get a decision for Aug 6th.

You might be eight, however, application submitted 15th might be considered as it takes 24 hours to get Biometrics letter, if scheduled on time, it will be completed on the profile status, and medicals can be passed if upfront, all thus can qualify the application as completed.

Have you had you medical done?
I think IRCC released this information after 15th May, 2021.

I believe for all applications submitted on or before 15th once completed will get response on or before 6th August.

It will end in praise for us all in Jesus Name

IRCC added the Medicals Requirements after May, 15. Initially, it was Biometrics they put there. And it's because of Indians that were attacking them on Twitter asking them to process their Application without Medicals since they were on lockdown that time.

Criminal check looks into your police certificates and verifies with relevant countries to see if you have a criminal record that may make you inadmissible to Canada.

Education and Experience credentials.

Martial Status verification.

Does anybody know how much exactly the transmission fee is?

Also, please for the 4-page consent form, I read we need to fill just the second page. Does that mean I don’t need to include the 3rd and 4th pages in my package?

Thanks.

Hi everyone, I found out that I didn't submit all my documents, and I made some minor mistakes in the ones I uploaded. Is it advisable to send the remaining ones through web form or email?

My application is just a month old and I've not gotten any response from IRCC yet.

Kindly reach them, explain explicit the essence for this additional documents, and you did get their acknowledgement.

All the best.

This is exactly what they said. However, Those that completed their Biometrics before May 15, will still fall within that category even if they complete their Medicals later. I submitted before May 15 but did upfront Medicals 3rd June. Eligibility Review has commenced and I have seen something that show that my application is under review like two Ghost Updates. Before now, Biometrics is first thing. I believe why they included the Medicals is to encourage Upfront Medicals. Because Usually, when people get medical request, it take a lot of them up to 2weeks to get the Medicals done and take the clinic sometimes between 3 to 10days to send the result and IRCC may take up to 3days or more to update it. So it can cause delay.

Initially, it was submission, nothing about biometrics and medicals. I still think should who have submitted, and afterwards get the biometrics and medicals provided, you will get a response.

Let's keep our hope alive. It will end in praise and in our favour.

They didn't even put biometrics. They only said if you submit a 'complete application'. It was later they included biometrics and medicals. I submitted on May 14th with upfront medical, but Biometrics was done on May 28th. My eligibility review has started though, I pray we all get an answer latest August!

Age : 25
Program: Master of Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Bachelor's degree: Systems Engineering

Ordered GCMS notes-----------------------May 22
Submitted new MBS------------------------June 4

Side story
He initially submitted one MBS and a fixed deposit certificate from a different bank. So he submitted new MBS for both banks when the fixed deposit matured on June 4. He also submitted bank statement from a different bank which was not initially part of his application because he was afraid that from the time he submitted, exchange rate had increased. So in the LOE he submitted along with the MBS and bank statement, he explained that his sponsor had made extra funds available.

- International Passport ( No travel history)
-Digital Photo ( He submitted a regular picture not the correct specification... Lol)
-All IMM forms

-Project Management certificate
-Waec Statement of result

-Letter of confirmation of fixed deposit
-MBS for a different bank (10M)
-Regular Statement of account for both banks
-RSA statement of account
-Pension Registration certificate
-His personal account statements and pay slips for the last 3 months.

NOTE
-He did not submit his undergrad transcripts with his application because he felt it might not work in his favor.
-He did not submit his birth certificate because the middle name on his birth certificate is different from the middle name on his international passport and other documents.
-He did not get any ghost updates.
- He only paid the required tuition deposit to get his LOA. He did not pay tuition for a semester or the full year.

For everyone waiting (myself included)... It will end in praise for all of us!

A lot of people get PPR without NSE. NSE doesn't guarantee PPR, it's just a way to speed up the application process.
