People who doesn't deserve to be called parents are giving birth to children without training. This is what I always say.
It even got to the period now a kid does something bad n u beat him or her, d next thing some so called parents come out to tel u u don't v right to touch someone's child forgetting d saying that one person doesn't train up a child.

This is the outcome. Most of this killings and voilence in d country is the outcome of many untrained kids.

Seems like this country has no future. Everywhere problem

The state government of course, Udom launched a kill on sight campaign against cultists but now he has shown his true colours. They don't want to do anything about it because that is where they get their ballot snatchers and call boys from

My alma mater. It's no news to me. It has been so since the days of John the Baptist. Very notorious for violent acts but still boast the best brains in the state. I ones witnessed a student's head split in two. God saved him he never died.
The government should do more to checkmate the rate of cult related activities in the school. It was a bit stable during my time but it appears the old mojo of 2001 - 2006 has returned.

cultism (secret cult) is a ban association and as such, the step taken by the principal on behalf of the school management is a welcome decision and action. At this juncture, the security agencies should step in and carry out undercover investigation to further arrest other cultists associated with this and other groups. The societal debauchery is getting worse hourly and i wonder what out country will turn into

Maybe it's because the school never had someone like the then Principal of HOFACO, Mr Michael Asuka. Such schools don't need a weak Principal.

Na mostly around that uniuyo side I dey see them, the state is really peaceful far better than this hovel called the south east, my only issue is that Ibibio people are a bit cold to other tribes most especially Igbo people, the light issues(applies mostly to oron and nwaniba though Brooks street side has electricity supply nyafu) and water issues though rain dey always fall there like craze. Really lovely cool state

Uyo High School and Technical College, Ewet.
Their rivalry is timeless.
At technical college, they even produce guns and other sophisticated weapons; clash with police and block main roads during uprisings.
Something really needs to be done.

its everywhere Nigerians we don't love each other... I stay in abj but I'm from akwa ibom...any time I go home I always love it...I just wish something can be done about d increasing rate of poverty... Its terrible but uyo is a beautiful place and peaceful too

Okay, if you happened to be the principal, you can go ahead and expel the child cultists and see if you'll have rest of mind from them or their colleagues. People that know your house , where you live, you wife and kids. They know everything about you yet you think you'll go unscathed because police go dey guard you 24/7 for the rest of your days abi? You're the one good at taking wrong decisions.

They have nothing to lose and will stop at nothing to take their revenge. Best you can do is negotiate with them else na you go lose. This is Nigeria!
