The reason the 5 years may not be possible is the battery. Even phone batteries will need to be changed after 4 years. But you won't find battery replacement for earbuds. Aside that in terms of durability, any average (not substandard chinko) can last for decades if you keep them well. Go for edifier tws 1 pro 15k or X5 which is 10k. You won't find ANC for that price range, but you will find passive noise cancellation . It will last, but the battery will fail you in a few years. Even Samsung buds

The only issue is that the touch controls don't work for my music player. Stellio Player.

Google search 'jet audio plus latest hacked version'. Download it, I'm sure when you do your stellar player will be a thing of the past. When you do, go to preferences-miscellaneous. You will see a lot of settings for headset. The app also has nice equalisers and can imitate other popular speakers and headsets brands like apple and beats and play their sound to your own earpiece.

Feel free to delete your own player after it works

It's seriously the best I have ever seen. The tws1 Pro has too much treble that seems to be higher than the rest. Any equaliser that can reduce the higher frequency and small mids will do. Just play around. Or just go to the in app equaliser and choose treble reducer. Someppl might like it but I don't

How come there's sound when you are listening to music and there's no sound when making calls? Because to me it's the same thing, the same Bluetooth the same channel the same speaker... Probably someone should educate us how this Bluetooth earphones work.
