Hi guys.

For those who succeeded in paying their school fees, what bank did you use?

How fast was it? I want to make school fees payment.

Thank you. I anticipate your kind response.

Processing time depends on many factors, sometimes beyond the bank's control. However, I will suggest sterling, stanbic and last option UBA. The first 2 options are among the fastest. Within 1-2 weeks.

See ehn, reach out to ircc Nairobi. They are crazy but they are still people like us. Write a compassionate email about the entire situation. Provide important info such as your name, passport ID, and date and attach your international passport. If you need help composing it, send a pm.

NB: Composing the email is the only thing I intend to do.

Pls check your mail. Thank you

I asked for all my log in details and the agent declined. See the attached picture below. I think the nice me is done with this man.

Abeg who are the draggers on this platform we have someone to drag.

I don’t know if these errors on the picture are typographical errors or as a result of bad spelling. I wonder if you guys bother to vet these agents before giving them your application to work on.

Maybe a judicial review would be a good idea. If you dnt mind, u could send ur sop and gcms note into my mailbox.
naijaoyibo:
Yes, Letter of explanation was almost five pages. We even added a table with breakdown of all the payments we have made, and how we would pay the remaining tuition from the money I sent to her account.

Congrats Mofpearl,

Curious to know why you did a reapplication, did you change your program or DLI? My daughter had to do a reapplication and I'm hoping she will get a feedback on time.
Hello,
I changed my DLI and my visa expiry was very close to my date of entry.

Hi all

My husband and I need to do re-medical within 30 days but we couldn’t secure a date before July 20th.

Is there anyone with upfront medical appointment that will like to swap with us please?

Any date before July 20th please.

Go with proves to the medical centre and beg them. Show them evidence/documents detailing the medical examination deadline.

Good morning everybody. Let’s keep the hope alive. Please my question is this, for a second time applicant that has changed the course he/she applied for in the previous application, is there a need to write another SOP or only a letter of explanation will suffice, or both.
Thank you.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by OCT202020: 7:15am On Jun 26, 2021
To the best of my knowledge, there's no difference between LOE and SOP, both servers the same purpose, which is a detailed and well crafted explanation of your application, since there's no in-person interview. Just my thought.

Hello everyone. Please I'm in a fix & I need your advice cry.

Prior to my application for a research-based msc programme in Canada, I reached out to a prof who confirmed she'd be taking in 2 graduate students and also confirmed that our research interests aligned but wouldn't take anybody yet till the academic committee and potential supervisors reviewed all applications.

4 months after applying (may 2021), I heard nothing from the school. So, I mailed the graduate co-ordinator inquiring about the outcome of my application and the professor replied instead.

The prof told me she was finalizing her research group for fall and asked if I'd be able to talk over zoom. We had the meeting and we talked about my research proposal and said she'd be taking me in and giving me the emails of her other students and would speak to the graduate co-ordinator about funding as I am an international student.

With her word, I assumed I was in only for me to again mail the graduate co-ordinator in June (as time for visa application was going) and then be told the prof isn't taking in students again.

I was shocked and asked if there was a mix-up. I mailed the supervisor and she said she was sorry and that I misunderstood her. That she was torn as I am an excellent fit for her lab but that she is already taking in 2 phd students and now at her maximum capacity.

I mailed the graduate co-ordinator and asked if it was possible to switch to course work instead. She said that though my application had already been denied (cos of the prof), I would be considered.

But now the thing is next week is July and I don't even know when I would hear from the school. Plus neither I nor my close relatives have my school fees. I thought I would get in through research which is why I applied for only research programmes.

I met the minimum requirement of 75% btw . Had 82% in undergrad.

Does anybody have an idea how I can "appeal" to the professor or go about the situation?

There is no appealing that will make her take you into her laboratory, she was callous to have given you hope only to deny you entry to her lab.

I quite sympathize with you situation, you need a sponsor or you can quite defer and seek funding next session.

Hello Enjay316,

The officer can boycott you without explanation during employment verification.

Best of Luck
thanks for your response bro, however I wanna ask how they do their Employment verification if anyone knows cos if they call my employer to verify if I work there, its good but telling them that I am applying for study Visa is where I have a big challenge cos I dont want my GM to know.I still love and need my Job till I get Visa.my HR had prepared the introduction letter and study leave approval letter but I assured him they wont call my GM number on the company letter headed paper.i told him they dont actually call for study Visa cos they are just a tie.Hope am not wrong cos he made it clear that he will deny me oo if they call GM and GM ask him if he wrote such letter without company approval.

Hello Nairalanders. I have been following for a while now. I have had admission since February (M.A Communication at MSVU) but proof of funds has been a major problem up till now. I have no sponsor who has that kind of money and neither do I have that money as well as I am currently unemployed. I feel pained mostly because among those we applied together, my admission came first and I have even helped another person process admission after mine and those people are currently applying even in other countries ( I have asked questions on their behalf many times on this forum) I do not want this to go like this now that it's my turn. I am open to helps, suggestions and advices. Please if you have contact of anyone who can help, please do not hesitate to drop them for my sake Sirs &Mas. God bless you

@All, my son's medical examination had expired due to Covid19 lockdown and travel restrictions. He has done another on June 11st in the UK but it appear the new medical is yet to reflect on Canada website. His status as shown below:

What do I do now as he will be travelling early July. Do I need to send an email to the immigration or what? Also need the email address.

Thanks!

It will get updated, alternatively, you can upload and email the e-medical slip he was given. Congratulations to your son.

Sop is for admission .
Loe is for visa itself .
