Nice one sir

What spacing did you use for the 12mm rod decking reinforcement (Longitudinal and transverse)

It looks like 200mm (8 inches) from the pics posted though

I bought it from Asaba there, at that building materials market, Timber section at the express road. I will call to know what the cost is as at today.

Seem woods are cheaper in Asaba region compare to Warri, Sapele and Benin. I keep hearing hand vs machine saw wood, it's strange handsaw that requires more effort is cheaper than machinesaw, sometime they think everyone are mumu! Lol

machine saw should be more straight than handsaw. It's not the efforts but quality of finished products

Dude, where I am, anything made by hand is 4 times costly than machine produced, that's the hard reality, mechanical finished product are standard while manual labour product are regarded as special product.

I am only emphasising the value for labour! Beside, the price discrepancies is way too high between 1x12x12 and 1x12x16 in the same Delta state

I understand your point of view but you need to account for the tradesmen performing does job where you are "compa" to our tradesmen in Nigeria.

I am sure where you are people take pride in their work, are meticulous, working with precision aimed at delivering a durable and professional product...

Our 9ja people will just do the job jaga jaga... then when you complain they get angry.. turn to emotional blackmail.. ehn ehn because you are a big man now you think I will be here slaving for you... or they say oga na so they dem do am... or complains that the work is too difficult or worse yet abandon the work half way through.

Some of our tradesmen lack the patience and the skill to do their jobs effectively.

I understand your emphasis..based on handmade and mass production...mass production are mostly cheaper due to lower overhead because of quantity....not sure it is same criteria with the machine cut and handcut with wood in Nigerian scenario
