Sokoloan just sent derogatory messages to my contacts just because the loan I collected is overdue for 2 days and I told them I will pay before the week runs out. Now that they have tarnished my image, should they still expect I pay them? The derogatory messages they sent is enough to pay them and I will not be paying them any cash again. Na loan I collect no be thief I thief.

No need to pay again even if you pay them back they won't tell your contacts you have settled them. I think once they sent the image damaging message to your contact, they have their money already.

All my sisters called me that they got a message from sokoloan about the loan I took. It dropped on my mums number and I saw it because I'm with the phone. My Dad told me he also got the messages and wondered why I have to collect loan from them. Same with my cousins including the two sons of my senior sister age 10 and 7. Some friends forwarded the message to me on WhatsApp (about 6 of them) and I know a good number of them will just ignore it. They sent it to my second number which is part of the number I stored on why phone.

The message is annoying, even me I refused to pay mine almost a year now.
They will block you from taking loans anywhere through your Bvn.

I begged them when they called earlier that I'll pay max Friday and that if I don't pay, they should take actions but the guy just laughed and said he will disgrace me & ended the call. He even told me to go and borrow money to pay them.. Again, oga what part of the agreement states that they will send derogatory messages to my contacts? What will my contacts do? Are they the one to repay the loan? You just opened your mouth wa because you haven't experienced such. If I make repayment now, what happens to my image that has been dented? Will they send messages to the contacts that I have paid them?

Which CBN.una can confidently give wrong advise on this forum. What sokoloan is doing is not approved by CBN hence that credit won't be reported. What are they going to report that he took a loan and suppose to pay 20% in seven days. They have done d worst which is contacting his contacts. Until ppl start boycotting and stop paying them after damage reputation, I think they'll have a rethink
