There's a Twitter discussion about it now, so many conspiracy theories are everywhere as to how and where he was arrested, note that Kanu is a British citizen so I seriously doubt the UK sanctioned his extradition and arrest.

A deal must have been agreed between Kanu and Nigerian government

Forget all this media drama, Anything is possible with this government.

First, they didn't allow the press take photos of him at the court today..
Quite unusual.

Denial is a process of coping, soon reality will set in grin

You will experience shock and denial, anger, depression, Dialougue and bargaining, acceptance and then back to meaningful life.

These are the stages of grief, ipob members and supporters will be experiencing

Who gave him up? There's is an extradition pact between Nigeria and the U.K, meaning if you commit a crime in either of the two countries you will not be able to escape arrest by hiding in the other.

UK and Nigeria are Commonwealth nations, UK is aware of Kanu activities both in Nigeria and UK.
He chose to hide in a country that has a strong relationship with Nigeria

The best place to raise this kind of a topic is the UK Embassy, go there ask about the arrest and come back here to talk to me... Some one committed an offense and ran over there, if the INTERPOL was summoned by the FG of Nigeria and evidences were shown to them.... Tell me, won't he be released angry

Thought there were people that believed MNK is running the IPOB just for his personal gain, it won't be surprising to eventually hear that he sold out the movement to the Nigerian government who marched his price!

Maybe they did an Umaru Dikko on Kanu in this case. But the silence or otherwise of the British government in the next few days will tell us what happened and how it happened. The truth shall surely unravel very soon.

Yeah, take the issue of Yahoo boy.

Extradition is often used for serious crimes and criminals. Hush puppy's extradition to the U.S is a case in point.

someone probably an exited government agent created a thread on how Kanu was kidnapped.
. the thread was deleted (probably from the order above)

I was on incognito mode and couldn't screenshot but I managed to copy.

Kanu loves women a lot.

As an unbridled sexmaniac ,he goes after anything underskirt even though married with kids ..

His wife is a witness.

Kanu was wooed with a beautiful Nigerian lady ,who was secretly working for the NiA (national intelligence agency).
He was wooed to Brazil. He arrived at the hotel waiting for his would be sex mate , only for him to find out that the hotel is a haven of secret agents controlled by the Nigerian state .
He was then immediately tranquilized with high dose of an anxiety drug, then tucked into an already waiting Cadillac and driven to the Santiago international airport where a private jet was already waiting to fly him to Nigeria.

He came into the country on sunday night .

President Buhari was not even aware of the capture of this man Kanu, (IT WAS AN ULTRA SECRET MISSION ,A MISSION HIDDEN EVEN FROM THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF HIMSELF) but as soon as he was informed ,Buhari cancelled his medical trip to London , so he could have a one on One chat with Kanu .

This is a big win for the Buhari government

This exactly what happened to Kanu.

He was not extradited but abducted outside Europe.

Why Brazil?
South America rule of law and policies are not that rigid so it takes nothing for the government to heavily bribe their government in order to carry out the operation on their airport.
they knew that such high profile sting operation won't be successful in UK because they can't bribe their authorities hence they have to set him up outside Europe entirely.
this was exactly what happened

While the few privileged Nigerians are making it look like the Nigeria is working, the poor brainless youths are supporting them. Someone is speaking up for you but you are blaming him.

Last time I checked, a graduate was washing a poo ridden bedsheet for 15k per month in an hotel and you claim the country is working.

Brainless youths from the south and the middle belt.

They consider him a very dangerous criminal hence the secrecy. No pact, they got him and seriously, I feel sorry for him.

Who also noticed that words like "arrested" "extradited" and "interpol" were conspicuously ommitted in the AG's press statement. He only said KANU was "intercepted".

Sold it out to be captured by the man he claimed has died but now represented by an impostor?

let's be honest, if the FG are capable of kidnapping such a threat, won't they rather poison or assassinate him there than wasting time on trial in Nigeria?
