This is my True story and i advise people to learn from this and stay away from cultism.

I was 19 when i got admission into the Delta state university Abraka to Study Geology . I had a cousin i had to put up with due to accommodation issues as my parents are poor and couldnt afford it at the time. They had to borrow to pay my fees and acceptance fees. Reading geology was very expensive as i had to pay for field works, books and all other materials. I struggled through my first year into my second. My cousin then dropped out of school due to financial issues. I was left all alone in Abraka and i made new friends . I had a girlfriend in school then and we call her Joy ( not her real name ). Joy was also dating a cultist ( A member of VIKINGSSS) . I got a call from Joy that i should come to her hostel and we should pass the night together. She told me she prepared my favorite food and i rushed down like a hungry lion. I got to her house and we had a good time and even sexx . Around 9PM, i heard a loud bang on her door and i asked who the person was, YOU DEY CRAZE, NA YOU GET THE ROOM, JOY COME OUTSIDE I WAN SEE YOU, that was the voice i heard behind the door. I looked at the time and it was late in the night . I picked up my phone to call a friend to come get me as i sensed danger but my phone went dead. I then sat down in the room and she assured me that all is fine. She went out to meet the guy and they argued loudly and some other boys came in and joined them. The next thing i heard was AROMATE wetin dey happen, i immediately knew i was in trouble. She came back in and was shouting at them and screaming from inside, I KNOW ONE FRIEND AGAIN NA BY FORCE. I told her i wanted to leave and she said i shouldnt leave and that it was safer to stay than go out that night. I told her its better to leave than staying in doors and that could bugle the door at night pretending to be robbers and shoot me. I gathered courage and left and immediately i got outside, i saw 5 Fierce looking men and i ran for my life, they chased me and stabbed me , i managed to escape with the injury. The next day, i reported to the police and arrest were made. The police men that came for raid where also member of the VIKINGSSSS, they made arrest and released them same day.

Apache like all dangerous but insignificant cult group would revenge by patiently waiting and mapping out the particular guy that carried out the hit on their men. They usually carry out the mission chanting the name of a rival group, e.g chanting aye axxmen while killing a viking. Your second question; The members would do nothing if the group you defected to are the dominant and the most powerful in town. Secondly, you must have revealed a lot about apache to your new family and any attack on you would spell disaster for them. They know this and would let you be.

The reason for this is because your former group know you know a lot about them and if there is a hit, you will be instrumental to your new group as you can easily point out some of your former members for mapping, give info about the mode of operation during hit and even divulge meeting spots which can be attacked leading to a high casualty just like one that was experienced in Benin in 2019 where a meeting of a group was attacked by another group, the aftermath was not funny.


Secondly, your new group might use you and finally sell you out to your former group because they don't trust you either, they still see you as a spy or someone not to be trusted. It might even happen that some rolling squad not aware that you are their member now might just hit you down. It's a case of you trying to avoid your former and current group during a hit cos you nor know who get your BB.


Many years ago, a young man did it in my area, the guy nor last a month, he moved from Eiye to Aye, na two bus Eiye take block the guy street at both end kill am. Guess what? Na him own padis of then run am because them say the guy don dey form big boy since him join Aye and the person when call am out from where him hide na Aye, them tell am to bring..............................(i won't complete this line sorry). Till date I never really understood how trying to stay on your own in an Eiye infested area became forming lol.

Another person was killed yesterday in Benin close to Uniben too. I wonder how people still decide to become cultists with all these deaths around, the problem is the society. No matter how we preach here on nairaland, we will only save a few. You need to see how secondary school students argue about school with the highest number of cultists, it's a bragging right to them. I have this neighbor with a son who always comes home early with his guys before closing hours, these kids talk shit, listen to shitty music like" we nor dey hear word oh, we are wayward". I just feel like calling them out, sitting their ass down and telling them stories. But my problem is, their parents see these things and even kinda aid it by giving their friends soft landing, the mom is worst, their little boy is tolling same path and she is ready to make trouble with those who chastise him.


These secondary school gangsters graduate to become University gangsters and street cultists (for those that couldn't further). Parents have a lot to do. No matter how secretive your son is ,he must drop an hint at anytime before becoming a member.

One of my guy once advised a kid and even told him what he did as a member in Auchi poly, just to make the kid hate cultism. This kid later go hatch and na him them use take set my guy up, he draw the map and the map click well well. Another bros that used to be an axe man, told us stories then as teens how he did some funny stuffs in PH, the stuffs were scary, as In real torture of rival but guess what? Almost everyone present there numbering about 50 boys now belong to one cult group or the other. The bros became a drunk later wasting his life on atara and some of the teen boys he advised became butchers while some became Eiye men who the bro now run away from.



I told the above story because,no matter how you advice some kids as a stranger they won't heed,they might start seeing you as their enemy, so families are best for such approach and yet same family is just too busy trying to survive and make more money to have a GoodLife and they neglect so many things.

Before I deactivated my former moniker,I joined NL and trolled someone so bad.6 years later,I searched my email address on the web and it popped up on NL where I trolled someone.I modified it out but someone has already quoted it.Luckily,the person was still active.I had to beg him because he claimed that was my punishment for trolling.
If I didn't know the implications,I wouldn't have begged.

Not so much, just that there was a retaliation the next day after the SOSSA guy was killed- some believed him to be a Klans man (he was stabbed twice). Gunshots were heard at the Music dept. of the school, someone was shot at the hands and legs but was rushed to the hospital.

Then yesterday (Saturday) outside the school, but around it's community, serious fight broke out between Maf men and Red Skins. 2-3 ppl were dead, sm1 was butchered also.
No police on sight during the cult war that lasted for more than 6 hrs in not only a particular place. All shops down were closed b4 8.

No police intervention during those periods.
The school shut down hostels and ordered ppl to be come from home if they have anything to do during this period.
