Of what use it is to invite a 30+ old goalie to come understudy younger goalies in their early 20s To embarrass him or what? Why dont u use that slot for another young goalie that still has more years to spend in the team growing and adapting to business between the sticks

Akpeyi is not buffon neither is he Ike Casilias so no need invite him, better we let him enjoy his CAF and south Africa league foot ball in peace

Its not by force akpeyi will be invited but there is nothing wrong with him being invited

Sirigu and fabianski are not also buffon or casillas but they are on the bench watching better young Gk start

Inviting him is just a reward of his good form and nothing else, if maduka is injured then uzoho will take over so why are you worried ?

The others young gk like alampasu and co rohr invited how many of them did he use since you guys prefer all the GK to be young

What about ezenwa that doesnt deserve any of his invitation , you guys dont like hearing the name akpeyi because of some few errors, but he was at the post at the Afcon and he didnt any error and we came 3rd

It's just like yesterday mehn, that was when the Nff president with its officials hold our football to random, with their fire bridget approach, zero or just 1 friendly,

Who should he replace playing, since those on the pitch are not doing badly

Top Tackler, Interceptor, Most Fouled Player Frank Onyeka Shines Against Liverpool
Danish champions FC Midtjylland missed out on their first Champions League point following their 2-0 loss to an under-strength Liverpool side at Anfield on Tuesday night.

It was goalless at the break but in the second half, Diogo Jota opened the scoring before Mohamed Salah scored from the penalty spot to double the advantage.

Picked as one to watch before the game, Nigeria international Frank Onyeka lived up to his billing, impressing in a ninety-minute shift despite Midtjylland's loss.

Based on the player ratings by football statistics website Whoscored, Onyeka was the Wolves' third best performer in the loss to the Reds with a rating of 6.65 and only Jens Cajuste (6.77) and Alexander Scholz (6.69) got more marks.

The Super Eagle was the most fouled player on the pitch, winning a game-high five free-kicks for his side and he was also the leading player when it comes to tackles (4) and interceptions (3).

Onyeka was accurate in 87.5 percent of his passes and won one aerial duel.

FC Midtjylland return to Champions League action when they host Ajax Amsterdam at the MCH Arena on November 3.

It's simple the best three Nigeria keepers are Maduka Okoye,Francis Uzoho and Daniel Akpeyi so what a fuss.

Even good to have old Akpeyi in camp with two young keepers.

Since Alloy Agu has failed to give us good goalkeeper in NPFL then Akpeyi still deserve a call up late Dele Aiyenugba na you kill am

I think Ezenwa who is not in top 6 ranking in NPFL is still getting eagles call up even old returning Dele Aiyenugba of Kwara United is better than Ezenwa in NPFL.

Respect to my university coach Amusa Adisa who was goalkeeper trainer to 2002 WC for giving us Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide and late Dele Aiyenugba.
na you kill Dele Aiyenugba

If some of us on this thread will take out time to watch full matches rather than just Youtube clips,
we will come to realise the quality we already have in our hands.

I recall when i said Frank Onyeka is a better player than Philip Billing, a popular moniker on this thread,
rose to argue with me, but later backed out, i do not know what he later discovered that made him rescind.

It appears Napoli are also interested in Frank Onyeka, but Brentford are the favourites.

Once Rohr is done, the NFF must look to the direction of Emmanuel Amuneke to handle the SE.. I would have preferred Siaisia as my top choice but he has been banned by CAS for five years from any football-related activity
Lol....I have the same thing in mind but you have to brace up bro. We might see Joseph Yobo on the bench as the coach after Rohr leave

Imagine that Rohr invited Okoye as a division 4 player. Didn't play him, the guy returned. Fast forward boom he is in Sparta as first choice, then starts saying he wants to take his time to make a choice of country to rep. Wetin for happen to Rohr Just asking.

Anyway Rohr did well by inviting him but we haven't seen the best of him yet,he concedes recklessly

Super Eagles gave Okoye the exposure he needed to boost his career.. If Okoye didn't play for Super Eagles he may not be in any top league today...

I see yobo as someone that has luck on his side
He achieve lot with super eagles if he plies the rule of merit in player selection and call ups

But right now Equaevon and that Aigbogun wanna steal the job from him through the back door, two mediocre coaches

Just imagine who is that guy's god father in the nff.
He keep getting invitee at the expense of better goalies

He does well for Super Eagles 'B' and is also the captain of the squad. Pinnick has created the term 'national team player' and Ezenwa fits the description.
