ISWAP Terrorist Arrested In Ogun On His Way To Lagos by ogododo: 12:01pm On Jul 01, 2021
The Defence Headquarters on Thursday said troops of Operation AWATSE arrested a suspected member of Islamic States West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Sango Otta area of Ogun State.

The Acting Director, Defence Media Operation, Brig.-Gen. Bernard Onyeuko, disclosed this while briefing newsmen on operations of the armed forces between June 18 and June 30, on Thursday in Abuja.

Onyeuko said the arrest was made during standing patrols and raid operations at strategic areas in the Majidun area, during which the suspect called Mr Ibrahim Musa was apprehended.

According to him, an intelligence report revealed that Ibrahim was on a mission to Lagos to acquire certain items for ISWAP’s operations in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

Onyeuko also disclosed that the troops acting on intelligence, arrested one Oyeshola Saheed, for illegal oil bunkering activity at Alimosho NNPC pipeline.

“However, he named one Mr Akanbi as the sponsor and financier of bunkering activities in the area.

“Both vehicles and equipment used for their operations were recovered and handed over to appropriate agency for necessary action.’’ He said.

The Defence spokesperson said that the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, had engaged with retired military generals in the Southwest as part of his non-kinetic engagements.

He said the interaction was part of efforts aimed at tracing root causes of security challenges in the country and to tap from the wealth of experience and knowledge of the retired officers and other stakeholders.

We know he will be released and then sent to Ondo state barracks or Ibadan barracks to be trained, after which they'll arm him and prepare him for war.

Our own don done for Nigeria.

Well done o, all one-Nigeria proponents.

It remains for him to be simply recycled as repented, rehabilitated and deradicalized terrorists.

we only know about the one apprehended, what about those who have already made their way to the south successfully?

I think it is time every household should have at least a gun.

Even if you can't afford rifle, Barretta or pump action, get one shakabula for yourself and family. grin

FALSE LIES WITH MEDIA BACKING THEM UP. IF IT WAS AN IGBO MAN, HIS FACE WILL BE SHOWN TO THE WHOLE WORLD BUT SINCE IT IS A FULANI MAN, HE IS ULTIMATELY FREE. I'VE SAID IT BEFORE AND I'LL CONTINUE TO SAY IT, IT'LL TAKE THE GRACE OF ALMIGHTY GOD FOR BUHARI TO FINISH HIS TENURE IN 2023 COS WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN THIS YEAR WILL BE BEYOND EVERYBODY'S POWER.

NNAMDI KANU SHOULD FEAR NOT COS THERE'LL BE MORE FIERCE LIONS ON HIS SHOULDER THAT'LL AGGRESSIVELY PUSH FOR BIAFRA AND IT WILL HAPPEN SOON (2035 - 2036) AND YORUBAS SHOULD PROTECT IGBOHO BY ALL MEANS COS HE IS THEIR GOD SENT.

He will be advised to repent, after repenting, he will be forgiven, released and taken abroad for studies of which will be paid by the government.

Fulani is taking over Nigeria. They have displaced the Hausas of their lands, married all their daughters, and enslaved their sons.

As a Yoruba man, I am afraid of my life in my hometown.
It is time to rise up without fear to defend our homes and our women.

They always get apprehended when they enter southern part of Nigeria but there in the northern part the moment they speak Hausa language and pledge allegiance to prophet Muhammad or call their terrorist oga on top they will set them free.

The north will never set free of terrorism until they stop their religion bigot mentality.

Buhari has only one agenda, to islamize the whole of Nigeria, that is the only reason he fought to become the president of Nigeria.

I read comment of some foolish and paid Buhari supporters here and I shake my head.

Like seriously, How much are they paying you to support evil?
How much are they paying you to sell your future and your generation?

If you are a Yoruba man and you support the arrest of Nnamdi Kalu and feel excited anytime an Igbo man is killed in the process of agitating for Biafra, then you don't have the right to complain about bad governance and how Nigeria is a shit hole, you don't have the right to complain about Buhari shooting unarmed protesters because you are a supporter of evil and you are no better than Buhari.

The North is united but the rest of Nigeria isn't, the Igbos have seen the North for what they truly are, but the Yorubas and Niger Deltans are still blind, the moment we come together and realize that the major problem of Nigeria are the Northerners who want to conquer every region and subject everyone to sharia law, Nigeria will grow. Otherwise we'll keep on suffering under these backward and illitrate killers and one day, Nigeria will become a Muslim Country.

To my Yoruba and Niger Delta brothers, Christianity and education bounds all of us, we think and look alike, the Igbos are not your enemy, they've never been your enemy, the Northerners are your enemies AND THATS THE TRUTH.

Nigeria government colludes with terrorists. Please, if you know you reside in Nigeria, please, arm yourselves for personal protection. When I say "arm" I mean, not knives, swords, or pump action, carry what the killers carry... Ak 47 and above pls, so your bodies will not be displayed on media.Be proactive, not reactive, for your own good

The sooner you guys know these people are already in Lagos and everywhere in the South, the better.....most are sleeper agents.

Nigeria as a country doesn't have strong borders in the North.... Making it easier for these elements from Chad and Niger to enter freely, speak Hausa and assimilate with the locals.

The only functional borders we have are in the South (Cotonou and Cameroon.)

We will always continue to be overrun by these terrorists until something is done about it.

They know the name of the arms supplier but don't know the name of the terrorist himself?

Selective justice is killing this country!! Heardsmen and terrorists are treated with kids gloves! Tell Dafe, no Fulani heardsmen have been prosecuted for the senseless killings of unharmed Nigerians, yet you all say Nigeria is one? Can’t we all get along??
