If you like it, incorporate it into your building. If engineer tell you "we don't do it like that", sack him and get the one that says "yes sir"

Upon inquiry, I was taken to a door importer in Onitsha, and these are the doors he has for sale. Doors made with treated wood. Costs about 35k with frames.

I was about to order 40 sets when he told me the doors are temporarily out of stock.

The design doesn't looks current in my eyes

I haven't come across them but their mason are fantastic in terms of plastering and laying of tiles

You can, but it depends on the sizes of the rooms and other spaces and how many toilets, 2m can get you to a level just a bit below the lintel.

Hahaha, some times you have to listen to their professional advise too. You can’t just sack them anyhow like that. Those air vent, most time the architect already determined the best direction of winds to position the building for better cross ventilation that may not need such. Those are some of the reasons you pay architects premium fee to determine all those wahala for you, not only drawing the the house. I mean professional ooo, not those drafts men calling themselves architects .

An astute question.

So this is my opinion and why I did not included attic vents in my build.

1) I’m the USA we have the following layers in most common roofing system

Plywood
Felt
Shingle

With these the roof is nearly 100% sealed.

2) In Nigeria our roofs are nowhere as sealed as in the USA. In fact I can see daylight in parts of my eaves here.

So I don’t think we need vents in Nigeria.

I’m not an expert and I didn’t spend the night at Holiday Inn

Lol Boss.... Am just curious about why we in west Africa don't really incorporate the vents in our buildings.....I see these air vents a lot in houses in East & southern parts of Africa...
