Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 4:53pm On Jul 01, 2021
David Okereke could well be on his way back to Italy after two difficult years at Belgian champions Club Brugge with media reports indicating that Genoa have inquired about the striker.

Genoa, who finished 11th in Serie A last season, have asked after Okereke, who last season was surplus to requirement at Club Brugge, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

He cost the Belgian champions a record eight Million Euros when he joined in 2019 from another Italian club Spezia.

It is understood that Club Brugge are ready to take a hit and accept five Million Euros for Okereke now.

Goalkeepers start their prime in their 30s so u are making no sense.

A goal keeper that is not good in his 20s likely will still not be good in his 30s improvements dont happen because we age but because we consciously work for it

Which theory huh I am talking facts. Everybody knows goalkeepers are in the best physical shape around the age of 30 to 35. I am not debating if he has improved because it is obvious he has.

I see yobo as someone that has luck on his side
He achieve lot with super eagles if he plies the rule of merit in player selection and call ups

But right now Equaevon and that Aigbogun wanna steal the job from him through the back door, two mediocre coaches
But how good is this Yobo sef ? He may even be worse than those you mentioned.

Ndidi is a great ball winner hardworking and energetic but he must add some offensive qualities to his game or else, he will just be a mid table player
